Apple refunding $$ for ALL Bumper purchases, beginning today

I have a bumber that somebody else got for me as a gift. They do not have an iPhone or apple account.

I wonder how I will get them refund. I do have their receipt. It was not emailed to them.

Why even worry about getting a refund for this bumper? U bought the phone so according to apple you never got a bumper yourself. You can get another free bumper.

If you want to give the money back to the people who gifted you the bumper, then ask for a refund.

I bought two bumpers for both of my iPhone 4's while visiting Atlanta with my Debit/Credit card. Since I live in Florida, how will I get my refund? I still have the sales receipts.

But there is noway to match that to my other iPhones... Seems they should have done this by serial numbers or something instead.

How could you sell for $30, what every iPhone owner gets for free??? Seems silly to want to seel something for $30 when every iPhone owner gets a free case, good luck selling something we can all get for free!

Because you can't even order a bumper right now - they are going for quite a premium on eBay! Oh yeah - I also received my refund email from Apple today! Happy Friday!

hmmm... i just got refunded for my bumper. i wanted to check out the free case app though... i went to place an order for the incase snap on case, just to see if it would go through... and it went through! i'm nervous they are going to charge me for one of them now...

went in my local apple store (where i bought the bumpers)

at first they were very fishy, and they said, *they knew nothing about the refund and how it's going to work with stores... and that all they know was about the credit card being automatic refund*

So i showed them the details at apple.com

got my refund via my apple gift card

What should i buy with that $31.45 lol

(BTW, does anyone know if we can use an apple giftcard to buy apps from the app store?)

My wife ordered both of our bumpers. We got the e-mail yesterday afternoon saying we'd have a refund on both. The problem is that yesterday morning, the bank found a fraudulent charge on our account and shut down our credit cards. Should I call apple and explain the situation? Wouldn't they get some error when the system tried to refund an inactive/incorrect card number?

Has everyone downloaded the case app? Seems like a pretty decent selection, but I might just get another bumper for free so all is right in the world as far as my missing refund. My wife wants the refund, haha.

I almost feel bad getting the free bumper because mine has been absolutely perfect from day 1... which wasn't expected considering the media frenzy about it.
