I was thinking of going this weekend and just returning it to get my cash back and then just follow whatever process Apple decides on.

I for one am happy to wait for my free case / bumper. It will complement my otterbox case that should arrive today

How could you sell for $30, what every iPhone owner gets for free??? Seems silly to want to seel something for $30 when every iPhone owner gets a free case, good luck selling something we can all get for free!
If you really want a bumper, odds are you will not be able to get one hence why Apple is offering 3rd party cases.
Also, I have learned that on Craigs List, people will buy anything. Obviously I will try to return it first but if not, I will find a buyer and no matter what I get for it, it effectively will lower the price of the phone.

I ordered a bumper last Friday immediately after the announcement that the bumpers would be free, before they changed to "unavailable" a short while later. I don't yet have an iPhone, still waiting for White, and just got this email from Apple:

I placed an order for a black and white bumper along with a black iPhone 4 32GB and both bumpers got refunded and also the status has changed to "Prepared for Shipment" except for the iPhone. So, I got 2 free bumpers.
Wow, so people with multiple bumper orders got all of them refunded? This is retarded. Had I known this was gonna happen, I would've kept all 3 bumpers I bought from the Apple retail store.
Not sure if everyone or what but I placed my order right after the announcement and was suprised by getting both refunded. Was only expecting to get one free.
