Apple Rejects Valve's Steam Link App Due to 'Business Conflicts'

I'm struggling to see the business reason for the denial unless they are planning something similar at WWDC. Otherwise, I don't see how Apple rejects it for "business conflicts" ... I'm very much in favor of my walled garden (I like living in it), but this seems to cross a line for me.

I think I’m done. As can be observed in my signature, I’ve dwindled down the number of ties that I have to Apple over the years.

This is just a (well made) LAN gameplay app. None of the games are available on iOS.

Well, you know, I was going to buy Cyberpunk 2077 and stream it to my Apple TV, but now I can’t so I’ll buy a Frogger clone instead. Obviously a lot of people are going to feel that way. Right? Right!?

Ordered a OnePlus 6. Will see how Android suits me. I'm pretty sold on the Apple ecosystem, but issues I've been having with iOS lately as well as the crappy MBP make me wonder why I bother. This phone may be the leaping point I've been looking for.
