I'm struggling to see the business reason for the denial unless they are planning something similar at WWDC. Otherwise, I don't see how Apple rejects it for "business conflicts" ... I'm very much in favor of my walled garden (I like living in it), but this seems to cross a line for me.

I think I’m done. As can be observed in my signature, I’ve dwindled down the number of ties that I have to Apple over the years.

I’m feeling that there’s nothing left. This was the straw that broke the camel’s back for me. When it’s time to replace my iPhone, I’ll be looking at Android devices.

So Apple would rather me purchase a Steam link and use that rather than their Apple TV. Oh don’t forget Valve even allowed the use of MFI gaming controllers so even more win for the Apple ecosystem.

I’m one of the biggest die hard Apple fans out there, but this is just balls.

I was really hoping to simplify my setup and get rid of my Steam Links...

:(:(:(

Wow. Apple is working overtime to screw the customers from features. No doubt for the dollar. When will it end?

Seriously. When do you folks hit a breaking point? I'm not advocating moving to the other OS, but Apple seems to really be anti customer, pro investor these days. Unfortunately one relies on the other.

This would have been a tremendous boost for iOS if Apple had let it through.

However, now that Apple has rejected the app, games are for losers. Who needs Valve when you can buy many amazing games through the App Store itself.
