"some people find that the colour fidelity isn’t as precise as it needs to be for high-quality print work."
The truth is: professionals simply DO NOT play around with glossy screens. No matter how much glossy-fans try to believe that they do. Almost all LCD monitors are matte (go look at the 24-inch iMac screen or the Apple Cinema Displays and tell me that the blacks don't look black) high end monitors don't have cheap, consumer-line glossy screens. Sure industry leaders like Samsung make glossy displays, but only in their TELEVISION lines. I have never (and someone correct me if I am wrong) seen a freakin' glossy Samsung computer monitor. I am not saying that glossys don't look superior, but in professional line of work, color accuracy is better in the "anti-glare" (or matte) displays.
