I doubt it would be. How are these not loud enough for you? They're painfully loud at full volume lol.
I listen on max lol the AirPods 2 are much louder, I know it’s bad for my ears but hey lol, the auto eq they use might be adjusted so a firmware could improve sound I guess

I'm curious if you could elaborate, as they've been flawless for me (using on an iPhone and iPad). My original Airpods had an issue where the connection for one Airpod was a little bit dodgy so about 10% of the time I put them back in the case, that AirPod wouldn't start charging and would be dead the next time I used them. So I learned to jiggle it a little bit which cleared things up.
I had something similar happen with my AirPods Pro: left them in the case and the next day found out the right earbud was 100% charged whereas the left one was at 0%. Not sure why it discharged overnight either since they were almost fully charged before I placed them in the case. I also notice that when I insert them in the case and leave the top open sometimes my iPhone notifies me of the left AirPod quickly keeping disconnecting and reconnecting, although as soon as I close the case everything is fine.

Hopefully the firmware update will iron out these small annoyances: I'm otherwise very happy with the AirPods Pro.

They aren't loud enough even with noise cancelling on? I don't think I've ever listened to anything on gen 2 or the Pros above about 75%, except if I'm watching a really quiet video.

When I had mine in for service last week, the firmware update procedure was to leave them in the case (closed) for 30 min with the case plugged into power and near my phone.

Because of a firmware update?

My freaking Nintendo Switch has had like 20+.. does that mean it is not ready to ship?

What a stupid comment.

Exactly.

If I don't play my Sonos speakers for a while, and miss an update, I can't even listen to music unless I update. It's really irritating. I just want to turn it on, play something and leave. Why can't it let me update it later??? Same goes for some Xbox updates, and a host of other products I own.
