Took about 5 or 6 minutes to download the update. Then about 12 to install it on the Watch.

So far so good...

You realize iPad-dude neither knows nor cares about any of your random number specs, simply sees a generic Galaxy-something-or-other, and feels sorry for you that you're obviously too poor to afford a real iPad?

You might spend your time trying to out-iPad the iPad-dudes, but nobody ever tried to out-Android anyone. You're losing a race that nobody else is participating in.

but but but my galaxy tab is bigger than yours.

There is a slight learning curve to get the timing right. Once you get it, it works almost every time. I'm at about 98% success rate.

Maybe Apple should offer a 2-year program so that I can go learn how to do that successfully? It does not work most of the time for me :(

When you put your watch onto the charger, it tells you the current charge level and a circular indicator showing how charged it is similar to iOS devices when you plug them in.

Update 1.0.1

Ok, first impression , seems a little bit more responsive. The mail notifications are popping a bit faster , the wrist movement seems a bit better . Glances... hmm just about the same. Siri ,opens up faster and the voice command seems a tad better . Off the topic and anecdotal , spent 4 days at Disney World Orlando , the watch worked fine, except when my friends called in the park to see where I was and I answered using the phone, the incoming calls where great ,clear and they could hear me fine , considering the high levels of noise in the park, but after trying to initiate a call back , the phone touch screen became unresponsive, tried to shut it off , no avail. Was only showing the Mickey face and time, notifications were coming trough , but unresponsive to touch . Finally I hard reset it pressing the crown and the side button simultaneously , :apple:watch came back to life and work without a hitch. Funny thing , in all that sea of people I did not spot another :apple:watch ... I felt special ...

How are any of us iPad naysayers wrong? Our criticisms of this crap device still stand today as they did when it was first unveiled. It's a big iPod touch not capable of satisfying any computing needs on or near the level of a laptop or a truly modern tablet. Apple has yet to address any of the shortcomings of this product, including the ridiculous product name.

The iPad's value as a novelty is beginning to waver as indicated in the quarterly sales decline as people are beginning to see the disturbing truth behind this product's existence: to separate you from your hard-earned cash by repackaging low-tech parts from a 4.7 body into a 9.7 body. Apple has figured out how to sell the same exact product twice to the gullible.

Every time I'm at an modest coffee shop and see someone pull out an iPad I respond by pulling out my Galaxy Tab 4 10.1 rocking Android 5.0.2 Lollipop with Samsung's innovative TouchWiz UI, a lightning fast quard core Qualcomm Snapdragon, 1.5 GB RAM, and of course a microSDXC card slot for expansion. Bam. Checkmate.

Lolololololololol!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Omg, you rock!!!!! Successful troll x 1,000!
Love it! =)
I've literally NEVER heard even the hugest Samsung fans ever refer to TouchWiz as "innovative". Hahahahahaha.
Annoying? Yes. Buggy? Yes. Samsung's one Achilles Heel? Yes. Waste of resources? Yes. Heavy handed? Yes. Gimmicky? Yes. Innovative?? Ummm... 1st I've heard!!! =P

Why would your return it when it goes on craigslist for 300 above retail...

...because no one has actually sold it for $300 above retail. You can advertise any price on a Craiglist ad—it doesn't mean it actually sells for that price.

I could easily list my old sneakers for $10,000 on Craiglist but it doesn't mean it's worth that much.

Her dissatisfaction comes from the calories. The Polar will say 500 calories burned for example, and the Watch 250. She's competing against people in some fitness app, so less is bad! Haha! I don't think the Polar is inaccurate. Judging by her workout, I think the numbers seems reasonable.

I don't know how the Apple Watch could be defective when paired with a bluetooth chest strap. The same strap on Polar gives her double the amount of calories. I just think Apple is using different algorithms. And even if we do exchange it, God knows when they'll send her another one.

Perhaps Apple's algorithms are more accurate.

Just got a meeting reminder and thought the taptic was a little stronger. Anyone else notice that or is it just me? I have the prominent haptic on, but the little taps afterwards seemed a little stronger than usual and the appointment reminders are the ones I keep missing if I turn of the prominent haptic.

Now I'm running late for the damn meeting.

I thought I was feeling that too. The prominent haptic is off on mine but before the 1.0.1 update i could just barely feel the haptics and they were set on max. Yay Apple!
