If I understand right, you can generate images of your pets doing such things. If so, I think this is gonna be huge for the average user.

Edit: Maybe it's just people, not pets? Shame if so – I think the pet thing would be much more widely-used.

how long did the image playground access took for you?

For me in the UK, it took about 15 minutes. Another phone I set up, I’m still waiting after 20 minutes. I suppose with more people setting this up now, it may take a while.

Is your device region set to US still? That was my problem - once I set mine back to Canada it started working

Well, now on the macOS 15.2 beta I was able to set my preferred language (back) to English (UK) and my Siri language to English (UK), too.

My region has been set to Norway since the 2nd or 3rd 15.1 beta.

Funny though, at first I just changed the siri language to English (UK) while keeping the preferred language to English (US), and Apple Intelligence did. not. like. that. and refused to work until thouse two languages were set to the same language. 🤷

Am now on the Image Playground waiting list, and Apple Intelligence "is downloading". So I assume I'm in some sort of queue?

Edit: Signing in to my (paid) ChatGPT account to connect that to Siri/Apple Intelligence was a breeze. Haven't tried it, yet, though... don't have anything I want to ask Siri or ChatGPT about at the moment...

So your logic is that everyone should be punished because of some creepy people. As I said, add to the metadata that the photo is not genuine. Accessing metadata for photos isn’t a hard concept, and if people can’t decide what is true or not true based on a photo, then that’s more on them than anything else. People have been digitally altering photos for decades and that won’t ever stop.

How about taking screenshots of AI generated pictures or images? You talk like no other company can generate images and like people don't know screenshots exist.
