I already reached a point where I'm having a hard time finding the emoji I'm looking for because of the sheer amount of emoji. Glad we're getting even more to zift through.

Next update: Emoji Filter! And hand gestures & face input as shortcuts.

Why people bother to come on MR just to b*tch, complain, and just bring negativity is annoying as hell. Show them where it hurts....with your wallets. Don't like the products? Buy something else which offers more to your liking. Don't like software updates? Go to Android where your phone carrier dictates when you get updates.

**You all also do realize that the emojis are accepted/updated by a Unicode Consortium right? Apple just adds them to align with the Unicode 9....but I assume you'd complain and cry about it anyway***

You do realize people can "b*tch, complain, and just bring negativity" as much as they like, this is a free society. Also you don't have to read those specific responses.
Unless you specifically don't live in a free society then your complaint is valid.

Apple is spending so much time on crap stuff like new Emojis instead of serious bug fixing like the Bluetooth auto sync so many have complained about or the delays/hangs when launching the Dialer App or Contacts App.

I have a 6s+ and didn't get the new wallpapers. Anyone else? I got public beta.

Nevermind, i guess they are iPhone 7 only.

Is anyone else's LGBTQ flag emoji not clickable? Haha I know that's really random, but I noticed it when I was looking at the new emojis.

I'm not seeing the new wallpapers on my iPhone 6 Plus. Are these new wallpapers exclusive to certain devices? I'm guessing it's maybe only for 6S and above only?
Apparently only the 7 series devices.

I mean I get why iMessage isn't cross platform after seeing it, as well. If you were to send that sparks effect to someone with a Note 7, they would think their phone was beginning to explode.
I actually laughed out loud when I read this! HA. nice one. (not that exploding phones are anything to laugh at but your comment WAS)

How do you activate Emergency SOS on iPhone?
I have looked as well and it would seem there is info on the medical ID about it now. Thinking if you use the emergency option on the keypad (just a guess) is how it works on the phone.

Yeah but this is a full two pages to read about the beta and so far NOTHING about it but bitching about emoji's. That's the point (and you do have to read to see if there may happen to be anything related to the thread discussion).

Any other public beta testers who find that submissions get stuck in an endless compression loop in the outbox?

I find I have to delete them, which moves them to drafts, then edit and add a character and resubmit without the data files.

If this is widespread, i bet a lot of feedback gets deleted.

Yes new emoji! I'm so happy I don't even know which emoji to insert here, a problem which will be solved with this update fieuw!

That has been the case for a while now. Usually if you wait it out it finally goes. Have seen it take a while several times and yeah hang up a few times as well in previous betas.

These fools. When will they realize that we need an emoji to express our dislike of emojis.

Here ya go.

I know this seems ridiculous to all of us on here, but if you tell the average non-techie iPhone user there's new emoji, they're far more likely to update. I think Apple knows this too and is why they do it so often. Non-techie person: "There's this new drooling face emoji if you update your phone!" Non-techie #2: "Omg I want it! I'm gonna update :D" would be their conversation. Now we would scoff at this and instead demand more fixes and features, but this is what the average person mostly talks about whenever there's an update that includes new emojis.

I think it's the fact that Apple lists emojis as an important update feature. You don't see Windows updates listing all the shiny new emojis they added.

You do realize that there are different departments within Apple, right?

Tim: "Listen up. I need every single department, including the car team, to focus their attention on creating a Surface Studio competitor."
Craig: "What about iOS bug fixes and a public betas?"
Tim: "That can wait, like the Airpods... Get to work!"

While true, it is irrelevant and does not discount legitimate gripes. What apple spends on the "emoji team", they could have earmarked for the "making an expandable rather than expendable computer team"
