Couldn’t resist 😂 Apple TV and watch updated too 😂
Yep so did I. 😅
Couldn’t resist 😂 Apple TV and watch updated too 😂
Granted something this bad is far less likely in the modern era, but some of us still remember the Panther upgrade catastrophe of 2003... https://www.wired.com/2003/10/bye-bye-data-glitch-in-panther/?utm_source=chatgpt.comIt's not going to do that.
It can't be worse than iOS 18, right? 😆
Installed. All good. The only feature I really care is Visited Places. Can anyone please confirm its availability (ideally from Canada)?
I installed on my iPad mini(previous generation) and see no changes.
What were they? I won't be able to try CarPlay until tomorrow morning. Just want to keep an eye out for them too.Installed. All good.
Found two bugs with CarPlay on my RAM 1500 (12'').
My iPad keeps crashing, can't open apps, just touching the screen causes it to crash. UGHiPad Developer Beta 4 is quirky as all get out, but functionally stable so far. Been running all day and the only thing I noticed is that one website keeps getting logged out. Music playback isn’t even stuttering, which has been a problem on mainline MacOS for me lately.
Does restarting fix this??My iPad keeps crashing, can't open apps, just touching the screen causes it to crash. UGH
😂I want to download it, but I also don’t need it doing something like wiping out my photo library.
Indexing ? Usually takes some time….Initial thoughts. Slow. Very very slow. This is on an iPhone 16 Pro.
The initial restart and welcome didn’t work. I had to shutdown and reboot, before I was able to sign on.
Did I say it’s very very slow? CarPlay widgets are awesome though!!! (but it’s slow)
Interface takes a bit of adjustment. Not sure what I think of it….
ETA....it amuses me with those that disagree. I'm not lying! My phone was barely usable as it was so slow! (It has since improved btw)
Resist.I went ahead and updated my iPad and it makes me jealous of not having it on my phone. I gotta wait on the phone, despite the temptation, must resist…must resist….. must resist………
Yes, you can update to official 26 when it’s released without restoring; and to go back to 18 you’ll have to install an older image (backup) which you will have saved. Or start from scratch.Question that’s probably been answered a million times. If you update to the beta, is doing a complete restore the only way to roll back to iOS 18? Secondly, if you decide to stay on the beta until official release, can you update to the official iOS 26 without restoring?
There’s a new update for developers too
I also received a second update for beta 4?? what's going on? im already on beta 4.

Installed the second beta 4 developer and the mysynchrony bank app still won’t load. Sent feedback. Everything else working as expected.
I’ve owned 8 generations of iPhone. I’ve participated in public betas since Apple offered them. I don’t ever recall my phone running this slow with an upgrade. All on the most powerful iPhone ever…it was an observation on my part that has amusingly and predictably ruffled some feathers.Indexing ? Usually takes some time….
