Apple Releases First macOS Big Sur 11.0.1 Beta to Developers [Update: Public Beta Available]

Do you know when 19H4 was released? Is there any information available about differences between 19H2 and 19H4? Is the 19H4 installer available from the macOS app store?

According to Mr. Macintosh on Twitter (@ClassicII_MrMac),

"The [19H4] installer does a InstallationCheck for boardID Mac-4B682C642b45593E. This means that 19H4 will ONLY install on the 21.5" Mid-2017 iMac."

As "Any solution to kernel panic com.apple.iokit.IOAcceleratorFamily2" shows this has shown up on earlier versions of the MacOS. Based on Kernel Panic it may be a hardware not software problem.

After testing a few beta versions on my 2019 iMac with much success other than a browser extension issue with Safari... I had reverted back to Catalina and deleted my beta volume. With an updated browser extension in hand I decided to try it again. Been running all day and cannot find any issues at all for my setup. MS Office, WebEx, Gotomeeting, Firefox, Chrome and Safari. Also use the Mail app and messages. Have not loaded Lightroom or Photoshop yet... but those all worked before.

Now I have removed myself from the beta program while running 11.0.1 as my daily driver and will wait for the release. Seems pretty solid for my use case.
