Hoping to get the bug fixed where my phone just resets to spinning on black screen for 10 seconds back to Home every now and then (especially on low battery). Always seems to happen on pictures, or opening up an app.
Same here. (iPhone 7, 256GB, Verizon)Hoping to get the bug fixed where my phone just resets to spinning on black screen for 10 seconds back to Home every now and then (especially on low battery). Always seems to happen on pictures, or opening up an app.
Verizon Carrier version is 25.1 now. Not sure if that's new. But the connection initially seems way more solid. Was getting intermittent wifi dropping too with 10.0.2 so I'm eager to see if that stops. Will be able to report on that when I get home.
I have an iPhone 7+ with Verizon Wireless
Before update:
Carrier: 25.1
Modem Firmware: 1.00.04
After update:
Carrier: 25.1
Modem Firmware: 1.00.05
It remains to be seen if it fixes the flaky connection; but I fixed it myself by disabling Voice & Data LTE support to just Data LTE in 10.0.2.
Update not available for the 6
This should've been caught in beta before shipping to customers.
Absolutely. If Jobs were still alive, every bug would be caught in beta.
Besides the "cellular connectivity gate", are any other **gates fixed with this release?
And I'll vote for any candidate who promises no more bugs.
My guess it yes.
I was/am on Beta 3 and VZ speeds were slow as hell. Ported out to AT&T and no issues since. Interested if the issue has been resolved, specifically looking for consistent speeds.
Can someone confirm the Carrier version for VZ

Updated, and it didn't brick my phone! Yay!

Is it just me or the closing animation stutter has been improved a bit on iPhone 7/7 plus? That's what I'm noticing so far on my 7.
Various people experiencing issues somehow think that things were magically better before because they didn't experience issues or because they didn't hear about them as much (of course that's quite different for people who actually experienced all kinds of issues or kept up on them and didn't forget them from earlier times). Is that sarcasm? Because there were a LOT of very serious bugs when Steve Jobs was still alive.
Ever heard of the iPhone coma issue from back in 2009 (right after release of the iPhone 4)? Millions of iPhones were randomly entering a "coma" like state out of the blue for several minutes at a time. It would basically be like you had powered the phone off and you couldn't do ANYTHING about it until the phone eventually decided to wake back up on its own.
You couldn't use your phone in an emergency, couldn't make/receive any calls or even count on your alarm waking you up if your phone decided to randomly go into a coma at the wrong moment. This issue took Apple well over a month to fix (can't remember exactly how long, but it was quite awhile).
Downloading on my 7 Plus.My iPhone has zero stutters and connectivity issues.Regardless,I like updates![]()
It's sad state when the basis of a good iOS update now is it doesn't brick your device.

I should have checked before updating, but what was the modem firmware in iOS 10.0.2 for AT&T phones?
AT&T 7 w/ 128GB here. Mine was 1.00.03 w/ iOS 10.0.2. Now it shows 1.00.05 w/ iOS 10.0.3
Every iPhone 7 and 7 plus has the stutter animation when closing an app and also entering multitasking. If you can't see it, then you're one of the lucky ones, but its not an issue that happens on some iPhones. It's all of them.
