Hopefully it fixes the random battery shutoff bug.

Two of my friends who both have iPhone 6s had their phones replaced because there was a recall regarding the battery being bad. Might want to contact Apple regarding your battery.

Maybe this fixes that recent text string that could freeze phones?

(The one with the rainbow flag emoji.)

i have 6plus and have had nothing other than trouble out of it.... now the battery will say it's 0% and power down once i plug to a charger it reboots and has the correct battery % like 50%.... when contacting apple they say it's not a problem with 6plus funny thing is i know 2 people whom had same problem which they took to an independent repair shop cost $85 to change to battery out fixed the problem when i spoke to Apple they want $300 to fix it... this is another product defect which i have explained and wrote tim cook a letter got a response from his sec. and was told not a problem with 6plus i said bull and explained to her that i will continue to let everyone i know that Apple DOES NOT STAND BEHIND their defects and also that i will no longer buy another Apple product period and lets see what happens to Apple every since the passing of Mr Jobs Apple has went down hill and Cook is going to flush them.... i would not recommend anyone in buying Apple products until Cook is out and they change their ways or proven that they stand behind their products. hope this helps someone before spending big money on Apple product to learn that Apple today is not the same Apple.
Did you check to see if your serial number is included in the free replacement Apple offers? I got mine replaced...

Any news on if they fixed having locally stored videos not appearing in the TV app? I'm still sitting on 10.1.1 just because of that so would gladly upgrade if they resolved the issue.

For all we know this version has the NSA snooper code built in. Does anyone else think it is juvenile that Apple does not release any change notes.

You think they'd put that in the release notes? :D

But, yes, updates should come with release notes at least outlining changes. I often make a decision to update or hold off based on changes (or, not so much with phones... decide whether a code-change is going to impact something else down the line I need to be aware of).

I'm hoping it has some impact on WiFi on my new SE, so I don't have to return it... but I'm guessing it's something specific to my unit. :(

I've been getting great battery life with this build. I've noticed that the Beta 1 builds are always awful with battery life and they get better by the final release. Maybe I'll just wait till the final build with 10.3.

I seem to be unable to turn on my VPN connection after this update. Anyone else have VPN issues?

Right, because that would definitely be listed on the change log, so Apple's lack of comprehensive change notes is the only reason you don't know if NSA snooper code is in there.

Are you never going to update iOS again?

Hour-later update: Working great for me, iPhone 7 Verizon. Just finished booking a place on airbnb using the phone, paid with Apple Pay, on a cellular connection, and everything seems stable. In fact, Safari even seems a little snappier...
