Why instagram bug not fixed man why that **** every time I go back to the app it takes me to the homepage

For all we know this version has the NSA snooper code built in. Does anyone else think it is juvenile that Apple does not release any change notes. I know that its been this way under Jobs, but I have a real problem not knowing what changes have occurred and deciding if those changes are worth the risk of being an initial guinea pig.

Yes, I think it depends on the team. Some post great notes, others post none. It's frustrating. I really wish they had a consistent policy of posting point-form release notes, as they are very useful for early adopters and for those waiting to see if a fix has been included.

Was the plan for a MacRumors app finally dropped at some point? I just noticed that whereas in the past iOS screenshots on MacRumors would sometimes include a picture of the app icon, it's not present on this one, even though this iPhone appears to be an actual in-use one (because it has lots of non-stock, not particularly popular apps installed on it.)

I bet of you added Macrumors.com (the website) to the Home screen, it will give you that same app icon. So that may not have been a native app afterall.

Am I the only one that noticed that Netflix now works with the TV app. And I mean like the Netflix Originals!! I searched for Stranger Things and Gilmore Girls (The Netflix Season) and both showed up in the TV App.

Juvenile? I don't know what's juvenile about that. Irresponsible? Yes to an extent. Disrespectful to customers? Absolutely.

Still no way to sort notification by app :( does anyone know why Apple took it out in the first place? Seems dumb to take it out....

It was always searchable. You just couldn't (and still can't) add it to Up Next. Deeper integration requires changes on the target app.

Edit: I take that back. It wasn't always the case. It was just added last week but isn't related to the new release of ios today. I haven't upgraded yet and I can do it. See this http://iphone.appleinsider.com/arti...ity-to-play-netflix-movies-directly-in-tv-app

Edit 2: and you specifically noted Netflix Originals which didn't work even last week. The shame!

Dropping calls like crazy now. The phone says "call failed" and stay on the screen for about 30-40 seconds before I can try to call again.
6s OTA update.

I totally agree, Apple's arrogance is so off-the-charts it's pathetic. They treat their consumers like infants unable to make informed decisions when given any facts.

I'm noticing that several threads in iMessage are missing all messages since January 8. No pattern that I can see. Some group threads and some single threads are effected, others aren't.

But only on my iPad Pro. No such problem on my iPhone 6S or iPhone 5S.

I updated several hours ago and also did a restart a few minutes ago.

6s. I like 10.2.1. I've been installing the betas and for me, it's been a solid release.

Battery life is good, animations are good, and from the release notes quite a few security items were fixed.

No apparent issues here.

I did notice that iTunes automatically did a backup before performing the update, and after the initial reboot, there was no mini-setup sequence nagging you to turn on 2FA, iCloud Photo Library, or Drive, nor did it ask for the password again. It just booted straight into the Springboard.

(Of course, sometimes Apple just turns things on anyway after an update, without asking.)

Never bothered to figure out whether there's a rhyme or reason to these things, or Apple changed their mind again.
