I retain the hope that the April opening of the new Apple Headquarters is accompanied by release of the new iPad Pros, new Apple TV (needs the A10X to support 4K output...), and a top-secret unexpected iOS 10.5 that has all sorts of unexpected iPad goodness in it (like a superior UI for multitasking app selection...)
Actually, the big feature that will be enabled with the opening of the new headquarters is direct delivery - they have a circular railgun installed on the roof, and when you order something, they target your location using your current iPhone's GPS, put your new purchase on the launcher, bring it up to a small fraction of the speed of light, and let it off the circular launch track at just the right point in the rotation to send it flying direct to you, anywhere in the world, in a second or two.

My iPhone 6 seems to be running a lot more smoothly on iOS 10.3 and the update also managed to free up an extra 5gb of space!

10.2.1 ran without lag on my SE and gf's 6s.

Can you be more specific?

Not sure if he's referring to the same lag, but I definitely experienced some on my iPhone 7 esp. when swiping from the first page on my home screen to the left (widgets page) etc. Now with 10.3 it finally seems as it should've been all along: smooth!

I still have ios 9 on my iPhone 6s. It works great and battery life is also good. I haven't upgraded to ios10 because i have serious doubts that I will see any real benefit. Am I wrong for not upgrading?
I wouldn't offer that you're wrong, just cautious!

To the point, 10.3 is a brand new beast IMO. I own a 6S (tried the Betas) and administer my mom's 6S (was still on iOS 9), both ATTWS 64GB versions. The difference in user experience was palpable - I had no issues with the last few Betas and updated to the official version this morning, and compared it to my mom's handset. Her 6S seemed like it was mine, but in slow motion - I've now updated hers as well and it's like a new handset. I'm glad that I updated, not looking back…

You have the final version, sometimes they give beta testers the final version right before they release it to public.
This is not true. If the latest beta is installed, the release version will probably not show until the beta profile is removed and the device is restarted. Apple did not leak the release build to some public beta users.

iPhone 6. huge noticeable lag in animations, opening apps, just noticeable all around. i've had my iPhone 6 since launch and knew how it responded to everything. after 10.2.1, all was slow and laggy. 2hrs on 10.3 and so far, it's responding well.

So where is this: "the update even adds a master switch that lets customers turn off app review request prompts all together."

i know I saw it in a earlier beta but now I can't find it.

My 6s was getting stuck on verifying update during OTA, so I had to install via iTunes instead. It seems I lost a bunch of photos and videos in my stock photos app. I did a backup, so I'm good. I also use Google Photos, so I'm not too worried about it.

I'm so excited! Downloading now. Can't wait to see what APFS does for my 6s Plus and my aging 6 in terms of any snappiness increases. It's made my 6th Gen iPod Touch run a little better (maybe placebo) but it is encouraging to see others with the same experience.

Installed the update on my iPhone 6 16 GB and saw no difference in how much free space is available... :(

Google Earth is still a 32-bit application, nice that it's so easy to look up now: Settings -> General -> About -> Applications.

While I was at it, I also noticed the latest version of Waze still requires "always allow" location access. :-(

Updated my iPad air and iPhone 6 and all is good. I do believe they are running smoother with this update.

this would be an awesome addition, however the Siri Remote has no speaker or vibration motor
So how this would be achieved I'm not sure

also not sure how serious you are, but figured I would say something

I'm very serious. My two young kids have managed to loose a second one. I'm sure it's in my house! But, it's been 2 months.

(yes, i know it has no possible way... maybe the iphone could track it via bluetooth strength or some thing)

They went to the same place my watch bands went:(

And both of these products (Siri Remote and Apple brand Watch bands) aren't cheap either
