For all the betas that were released, this update is pretty underwhelming to me. Guess we got iOS 11 to look forward to......

iOS 10.3 on iPhone 7 plus – OTA 650MB

Took 10 mins to download and 25 mins to install on my 7+, 75GB used out of 128GB

Been using it for about an hr and it already feels smoother

This is not true. If the latest beta is installed, the release version will probably not show until the beta profile is removed and the device is restarted. Apple did not leak the release build to some public beta users.

It is true, they would have changed the version to be higher then the last beta like they did on the watch, tv, macOS if it wasn't. It's not the first time the gave the GM a week or more to beta testers.

You realize they completely changed the file system? There is a reason they did so much testing...

Waiting for comments by 5S owners. I plan to keep my old "backup" 5S in 9.3.5, but who knows if I'll ever need to restore it..

OTOH, the new file esystem may finally convince me to upgrade my SE to iOS 10.

Edit: Grammar..

my SE is much faster and with better battery life on iOS10 compared to 9.3.5.
Updating now to 10.3

So where is this: "the update even adds a master switch that lets customers turn off app review request prompts all together."

i know I saw it in a earlier beta but now I can't find it.

I was just thinking about that. Now sure where that's got too.

Before and after APFS.
My 5 which is 32GB had a capacity of 26.68 before the update and 26.65 after. So I lost a few MBs. Free space before and after doesn't matter as the update will clear cache down anyway.

Under Settings -> ITunes & App Store... if you tap your Apple ID, there's a new Account Settings -> Rating and Review with basically all of your reviews for apps, podcasts, etc.

But no obvious way to turn off notifications.

(I also came up empty at Settings -> Notifications.)

Sorry to bring you bad news but I don't think you will see an increase if your iPhone is already on the new APFS file system.

Just update, you won't regret it, speed improves quite a bit, I don't have the those notification bugs anymore, had them before too, not in the last few beta's though.
Ya I figured it wouldnt. Just wishful thinking I guess...

Apple today released iOS 10.3 to the public, marking the launch of the third major update to the iOS 10 operating system since it launched on September 13, 2016. iOS 10.3 has been in testing since January 24 and Apple seeded seven betas to developers and public beta testers before releasing the software.

iOS 10.3 is available as a free over-the-air update for all iOS 10 users, and it can also be downloaded via iTunes. Xcode 8.3 with support for Swift 3.1, iOS 10.3, macOS Sierra 10.12.4, tvOS 10.2, and watchOS 3.2 is also available today.

As a major 10.x update, iOS 10.3 includes both significant additions and more minor design tweaks and changes. The biggest new consuming-facing feature is "Find My AirPods," which has been added to the Find My iPhone function to help AirPods owners locate a lost earphone should one be misplaced.

Find My AirPods can play a sound to help users find an AirPod misplaced nearby, and it also saves the last known location of when an AirPod was connected to an iOS device via Bluetooth, but it can't locate the AirPods when the iPhone isn't nearby nor can it locate the Charging Case.

iOS 10.3 introduces a new Apple File System (APFS), which is installed when an iOS device is updated. APFS is optimized for flash/SSD storage and includes improved support for encryption. Other features include snapshots for freezing the state of a file system (better for backups), space sharing, and better space efficiency, all of which should result in a more stable platform. Customers updating to iOS 10.3 should first make a backup given that the update installs a new file system.

Some App Store changes are coming in iOS 10.3, allowing developers to respond to customer reviews for the first time. iOS users are also able to label reviews in the App Store as "Helpful" or "Not Helpful" for surfacing more relevant review content, and Apple plans to limit the number of times developers can ask for a review. The update even adds a master switch that lets customers turn off app review request prompts all together.

Other new features in iOS 10.3 include a revamped open/close animation for apps, an Apple ID profile in Settings, a better breakdown of iCloud storage usage, warnings about outdated apps that may not work with future versions of iOS and could slow down devices, HomeKit support for programmable light switches, improvements to SiriKit (bill paying, bill status, and scheduling future rides), CarPlay interface improvements, and iCloud analytics options.

If my BeatsX has the same chip in them, wouldn't it be able to be tracked like my "Find my Air Pods"?

I used to have some weird lag when flipping through the multitasking screen, it's gone now with 10.3 on my IPhone 7+ and iPad Air.

Does anyone know if iOS 10.3 finally brings iCloud Wi-fi calling to Verizon?
There doesn't seem to be a mention of that here.
It would be something to look forward to tonight after work when I can update my phone.

?? Verizon has had wifi calling for awhile. It's been really annoying, home, where we don't have cell phone service, used to be an oasis of quiet. Now my phone rings via wifi. Ick :) or maybe you mean something different? I can call out and receceive via wifi. Maybe it's area dependent?

any updates on battery life? I'm on a 6S.
Something like that can't really be decently answered for at least a day or two after an update when people have gone at least through a couple or more charge cycles.

there was an article on 9to5 mac 2 months ago about iCloud & Verizon Wi-fi calling... see link below

https://9to5mac.com/2017/01/25/ios-10-3-wi-fi-calling-icloud-verizon/
WiFi calling has been available on Verizon since about iOS 9.1 days, if I recall correctly. With iOS 10.3 it seems like some additional options are added as far as being able to take advantage of it on some connected devices (in a sense it's more of iCloud calling).

Theres a bug on ipad air 2 and iTunes latest build on Windows, can't finish synchronizing last step 6.

I am super impressed with this update. I know its cliché to say so but everything so much faster and smoother and dare I say... snappier. I think the new Apple File System is to be credited for that. I love it!

Seemed immediately snappier and smoother to me too. Thought the new app animations might have something to do with it, but scrolling seems smoother also.

How can I update if i am on the beta program?
You can't, unless you remove the beta profile, which removes you from the beta program updates. You can delete the profile, download the update, and then install the profile again.

Not unless Apple made allowance for such in the coding.

You don't need too, beta people got the GM last week...

That is true. However, some people prefer to download the final update, even though they have been on public beta, as noted by several in the thread.

10.2.1 has been running well in my 64 GB SE.

Well, some people are noticing that Wi-Fi calling for O2 was included. So I'm thinking there was a few additions under the hood in the final release.
