What the actual heck. iPhone just bricked itself as well. That makes 2 devices screwed up by the OTA update and I have to try and restore to the older version now. I do not jailbreak and I did not preinstall the update. Just installed for the first time now. Come on apple. Appears since I hit update right after it hit the servers, I somehow got a corrupt install.

Anyone else having these issues?

If the phone cuts off for 2-3 minutes. It's not bricked. Don't hard reset. It's part of the update process

Weird that you would have problems downloading from their servers when millions of other people are trying to do the same thing at the same time.

If they would test their releases, there won't be problems with bricking devices? -.-' and crushing servers 2 times harder...

Tried to do the update on the phone and now its in recovery mode.
Beware if you dont have a computer with Itunes handy.

Why?

Because ios10 is bricking devices. I feel bad for the folks who updated their iPhones while out and can't plug their phone into iTunes until they get home.

Just tried OTA with my 6s with 9.3.5. Bricked phone and must plug into iTunes now, oh wait I'm at work and don't have my laptop with me

Good to hear, iTunes recovery is at 80% on the phone. I'm hoping for the same results on my 6s+ (recovery mode via itunes)

I'm also a 6S+, so you should be good

No way to get past the plug into iTunes screen on my iPad Pro 9.7. Now trying to rollback via iTunes and stop install on iPhone 6. I knew better than to grab it today.

OTA failed on my 6S+, like a bunch of other folks.

Now trying again through iTunes.

My iPad Air is still attempting the OTA update, no "connect to iTunes" message YET, but it's not as far along in the process.

Failed on my 6S+ too. Currently connected to iTunes with my fingers crossed.

Ugh...downloading the new iTunes but not hopeful that will help. Now when I plug it into the new iTunes, it says it's downloading iOS10....this will be a long time...

Awesome! Yes iTunes recovery and update to iOS 10 was a SUCCESS. All settings/apps saved.

Woo hoo Had me sweating there for a bit (I had a backup).

Beware.... I just tried the update and got the connect to iTunes screen as it was completing. Factory resetting my iPhone 6S Plus now!

Failed update.... now it looks like it might be BRICKED!! warning to all don't update don't update
