Probably. But I’ll be even more ambitious and hope it means I can scroll through my home screen without a 1 second (or more) lag, and so on for all the other frequent 6s lag complaints.
I had the same problem on my 6s. Had to restore the phone as a new device first, then install the backup and this solved the problems.

Already massively improved which is great! But I ask again, why release an unfinished product in the first place, just because you CAN update it whenever you want doesn't mean you shouldn't aim to have it solid - it's like releasing half product and saying "ah we'll finish it later".

Maybe iOS should have a "Snow Leopard", "Mountain Lion", "High Sierra" year.

Really hoping this un-nukes my 7 battery life. Used to have room in the tank to spare by 11PM, after iOS11 it was dead by 5PM at the same use.

A patch this fast is also a sign of a rushed os11 software release /poor QA...

Perhaps, but given that my 8+ came with 11 pre-installed it's also an acknowledgement that further improvement was needed. Overall I would much rather Apple push out .x releases to fix problems in an iterative agile manner versus waiting months for a cumulative update.

Good job Apple!

My iPhone 8 Plus feels snapier when opening apps, changing menus. There is still lag in 3D touch animations.
Flashing screen when pulling down spotlight is no longer there.

On iPad Pro 10.5 there are still rotation issues after using iPhone-only apps

Does anyone think its a bit odd that the tried and test iOS 11 with thousands upon thousands of beta testers and was given the all clear for download last Wednesday.
It then crippled many phones and two days later apple launch iPhone 8!!

Reminds me of the Charlie Chaplain movie where the young lad throws a stone at a window, and seconds later Charlie arrives glass on his back ready to re-glaze!

Not odd at all. There are likely more very obscure bugs to be found. I imagine the thousands of testers were not looking for obscure bugs, or trying to hack the system. Also, there's a huge difference between thousands of beta testers and millions of users using a device.

There will be more, as with any complex device using complex software.

Feels slightly faster on 7. Still needs more work to fix Home button lag and 3D Touch issues.

Much snappier and barely any stutters anymore. Waiting to see what battery usage will be over the coming days. So far an excellent update...kudos Apple.

Can anyone comment on whether this actually fixes the Exchange bug?
not sure if anyone else commented on this (108 comments as of me writing this) but we won't know if this officially fixes the Exchange/O365 issues until MS turns on HTTP/2 for your forrest. so that will take about 48 hours to complete. although I haven't heard if/when MS will turn it on.
