Swiftly and promptly. Apple is good.

Good at bringing the updates but we should consider ...

Was initial iOS 11 faulty and rushed to begin with?

Is Apple fully testing these updates internally before launching publicly? Are the paid beta user community getting updates LONG before production/public role out with enaugh time to test?!

Did 11.0.2 on iPhone 7 Plus OTA. All is well. No brick. Since it's a 7 Plus, I never had the "crackling" audio issue, so can't speak to that one way or the other. And I may just be imagining things but Control Center seems just a tad quicker coming up.

This is why some iOS users are hypnotized into thinking OS updates are needed or good. Out of the box, the iPhone has these "very annoying" problems. I'd rather Apple take their time instead of always rushing for the fall deadline.

Market realities do suck occasionally. The simple truth is that iOS and Android are in an arms race, and each OS's parent company has — for better or worse — decided to update it every fall. In Apple's case, of course, that coincides with each year's next round of iPhones, in time to get people thinking about making them Christmas gifts. In an ideal world, there would be no market pressure to do anything at any certain time. We do not live in that world.

Hope it solves every problem everyone has ever complained about.
Updates are bad. I just want to complain about bugs and when Apple addresses them, I want to complain about how many bug fixes they release. - Macrumors Forums
TBH, messages like this are just as annoying, if not more so. They are also on every single post regarding an update. Enough already, from all sides.

There has been people complaining about batter issues since IOS 8. Don't expect it to be fixed for you anytime soon.
Or it might be fixed or go a way as is often enough the case for many with updates.

I don't think so. I think every version of iOS will naturally have some sort a type of glitch that needs to be rectified later on. iOS is not perfect, but what makes Apple so diligent, is how swiftly and quickly they address the issues at hand. But if anything, I don't believe Apple wants to rush anything to the general public, which includes hardware and software.

Yes, but more importantly, we need to consider "how many angels will fit on the head of a pin?" Are they standing or sitting? And is the head of a pin uncomfortable?

Interesting I have not really had any battery issues until today (11.1 beta) Today was a disaster. Less than 2 hrs use and down to 26%. I did use Apple maps for like 15-20 minutes otherwise regular usage. Geez. I see where all the complaints are coming from now. Except no idea why I have not really had any issues until now.

Exact same experience. All of a sudden today---just today, literally---my battery is draining like crazy!
