I'm getting kind of sick of updating my phone every couple weeks. First world problems I guess.
You’re not alone.

Who said there was nothing wrong with the .0 public release? Is that just something you made up, or are you just arguing with people who have no knowledge of software development lol?Wow. SIX releases in just over a month. This obviously silences the last remaining few who were still arguing there was nothing wrong with the .0 public release. And what a pain for the casual user (not us) to constantly get bugged by updates, I know most of my non-tech geek friends hate it. They should have released a finished product to start with.
It literally takes a couple minutes, who cares...You’re not alone.
Doesn’t that have the WPA2 exploit still unpatched?Aw yeah. Still running iOS 10.

I f%#%ing hate when yo-yos use the term sheepish. They shouldn't be trolling on this board if they're not interested. Ugh! Makes my blood boil. And as long as people like you keep using the word sheeple, people like me will continue to seriously dislike you & completely discount anything you say.
This doesn't fix the issue with iMessage on my Mac though...
I think you have a spelling mistake in the title. It should be "With Fix For A Autoupdate Bug". There's a weird question mark after the "A" for me
You’re not alone.
This has been driving me crazy. I never saw it before I updated to 11.1.No mention of the huge LAG when typing in iMessage, web address and more. Sometimes you have to wait for seconds before the keyboard responds.
Just updated it.
During the process when the progress bar was about 30% done, I received and replied to a couple of iMessages via my watch. This must mean the iPhone is still effectively active during the update? Puzzled.
Hopeful they've addressed the battery issue too. Mine's not that bad, but it is noticeably diminished from earlier versions of the OS. Used to be my phone lasted a whole day with power to spare. Now it's out of juice by 6pm. My usage hasn't changed.![]()
Wow, Apple releases an update to correct issues and give people a better user experience and people complain. Unbelievable.
Ok 10 minutes. Let me get you some cheese for your wine. I have 4 iOS devices. Literally takes one button click and that’s it. Walk away for 10 min and come back.First, it takes longer than a few minutes so you’re wrong there. Second, I have 5 iOS devices myself then I do my family members devices. So yeah it’s a bit of a pain.
Software and cars are really not even close to the same thing. And installing and update is hardly even close to the hassle of taking a car into the dealership.Unlike you, the rest of us don't enjoy dealing with apple devices that are just "supposed to work". Its like taking our new cars back to the dealership 5 or 6 time in the first 4 weeks. It is an unwanted hassle.
