Wow. SIX releases in just over a month. This obviously silences the last remaining few who were still arguing there was nothing wrong with the .0 public release. And what a pain for the casual user (not us) to constantly get bugged by updates, I know most of my non-tech geek friends hate it. They should have released a finished product to start with.
Who said there was nothing wrong with the .0 public release? Is that just something you made up, or are you just arguing with people who have no knowledge of software development lol?

There are ALWAYS bugs. Known bugs. In 9.3.5 and 10.3.3, plenty of known bugs. That’s the nature of SW development, it’s like a treadmill. No matter how many you fix, there will always be more. More to be discovered and more that were just introduced in your latest round of bug fixes lol.

The causal user has automatic updates enabled so they install at night while they sleep and awake knowing nothing has happened other than they need to punch their passcode once before using TouchID/FaceID.

As others noted, this has already been fixed in 11.2 beta 2. However, the bug is present in macOS beta

They should have bundled the calc fix instead of making us wait until 11.2. Oh well.

Hopefully the "Hey Siri" fix is for when it sits thinking about what you said for, like, 30 seconds.

And as long as people like you keep using the word sheeple, people like me will continue to seriously dislike you & completely discount anything you say.
I f%#%ing hate when yo-yos use the term sheepish. They shouldn't be trolling on this board if they're not interested. Ugh! Makes my blood boil.

Pandora and Control Center are working nicely again now also. Before this update, Pandora would keep playing on my iPhone X after I turned my car off, and then the controls in Control Center did nothing... Had to kill Pandora to stop music from playing!

I think you have a spelling mistake in the title. It should be "With Fix For A Autoupdate Bug". There's a weird question mark after the "A" for me

Not sure if you're trying to be sarcastic or serious, but this very bug fix is about that exact issue you saw.... the bug causes the characters "A [?]" to appear when typing a capital-I character. That's why the title says what it does. Also, your suggested title is still incorrect. It would be written "an Autocorrect Bug" to be valid.

Just updated it.

During the process when the progress bar was about 30% done, I received and replied to a couple of iMessages via my watch. This must mean the iPhone is still effectively active during the update? Puzzled.

No wifi connection to the watch was present at the time?

Hopeful they've addressed the battery issue too. Mine's not that bad, but it is noticeably diminished from earlier versions of the OS. Used to be my phone lasted a whole day with power to spare. Now it's out of juice by 6pm. My usage hasn't changed. :(

I have restored mine clean several times. I listen to music all day because I sit at desk but usually I have to charge my phone by 9:30am because it's around 20%. I get up at 6am. I started leaving it on the charger all day because it dies too fast. I get off at 5 and by 8pm I have to put it back on the charger.

Some days I wont even use it and after 2 or 3 hours of use the battery is drained. I have reduced motion on, lower power mode on, location services off, and background refresh off. With IOS 10 I could get a full day charge while listening to music all day

Wow, Apple releases an update to correct issues and give people a better user experience and people complain. Unbelievable.

Unlike you, the rest of us don't enjoy dealing with apple devices that are just "supposed to work". Its like taking our new cars back to the dealership 5 or 6 time in the first 4 weeks. It is an unwanted hassle.

First, it takes longer than a few minutes so you’re wrong there. Second, I have 5 iOS devices myself then I do my family members devices. So yeah it’s a bit of a pain.
Ok 10 minutes. Let me get you some cheese for your wine. I have 4 iOS devices. Literally takes one button click and that’s it. Walk away for 10 min and come back.

Hope it also addresses a bug I've noticed in the last two days where notifications on the lock screen fall beyond the container.

Software and cars are really not even close to the same thing. And installing and update is hardly even close to the hassle of taking a car into the dealership.
