11.2 slashed the battery life of my 6 so badly that the phone had to be recharged after 8 hours under light usage. Thank god Apple was still signing the 11.1.2 so I could downgrade. Since then my battery life is back to normal and the battery easily lasts for 15 hours. As long as keep my 6, I will never upgrade.

You'll be missing out on these important fixes then:
  1. IOKit: An application may be able to execute arbitrary code with (CVE-2017-13847)
  2. IOMobileFrameBuffer: An application may be able to execute arbitrary code with kernel privilege (CVE-2017-13879)
  3. IOSurface: An application may be able to execute arbitrary code with kernel privileges (CVE-2017-13861)
  4. Kernel: An application may be able to execute arbitrary code with kernel privileges (CVE-2017-13862, CVE-2017-13876, CVE-2017-13867)
  5. Kernel: An application may be able to read restricted memory (CVE-2017-13833)
  6. Kernel: An application may be able to read restricted memory (CVE-2017-13855)
  7. Kernel: An application may be able to read restricted memory (CVE-2017-13865, CVE-2017-13868, CVE-2017-13869)
  8. Mail: Incorrect certificate is used for encryption (CVE-2017-13874)
  9. Mail Drafts: An attacker with a privileged network position may be able to intercept mail (CVE-2017-13860)
  10. Mail Message Framework: Visiting a malicious website may lead to address bar spoofing (CVE-2017-2433)
  11. WebKit: Processing maliciously crafted web content may lead to arbitrary code execution (CVE-2017-7156, CVE-2017-7157, CVE-2017-13856, CVE-2017-13870, CVE-2017-13866)
  12. Wi-Fi: An attacker in Wi-Fi range may force nonce reuse in WPA multicast/GTK clients (Key Reinstallation Attacks - KRACK) (CVE-2017-13080)
  13. HomeKit: A remote attacker may be able to unexpectedly alter application state (CVE-2017-13903)
Well, your phone, not mine ;)

"Hey Siri" "Hey Siri" "Hey Siri" "Hey Siri How's the weather today?" "Hey Siri it's me."

My most loathed "sentence" of all time due to all these updates.

Updated both mine and wife's X and now both Apple TV's, still won't let me send a Home invite to my wife.

Rubbish.

I removed the Beta profile and restarted on all of my devices to see the 11.2.1 update. Kinda silly. Their software updating mechanism has gotten extremely complex with all of the deltas they are supporting now.

It's not that silly. The purpose of Apple pre-releases is not to receive updates faster, and they discourage you from using them production devices.

Install the beta software only on non-production devices that are not business critical. We strongly recommend installing on a secondary system or device, or on a secondary partition on your Mac.

In addition, there wasn't really much to beta test on 11.2.1 — it appears to only (or mainly) contain a single bug fix.

So, notwithstanding that there are, of course, many people who will use a beta on a production device, there is little point to make non-beta builds available on the beta channel for such minor releases.

I managed to get a Home invite out to my wife via the Hue app which also wouldn't work before.

All working now.

You set up Hey Siri anew each time an update comes out?

It tells me to do so every time I update. How do I make it not ask me? I've had to do it every single time I've updated my phone since iOS 11 came out.

I've never had to set up Hey Siri again after an update, I don't follow.

It always asks me to set it up again after every update I do, obviously another bug.

EDIT:// Never mind it never asked me to do it this update :) - It did on the three prior ones though.

What this one gonna break now?

Well, when I try to send an invite for my Home to anyone with an iPhone 5 running 10.3.3, I still get the "This user is not registered with iCloud" error message so I'm pretty sure they broke iOS 10 Home Sharing support. Thanks, Apple!

I sent a HomeKit invitation to my partner, but it just keeps spinning in the Home app. There’s no way to cancel it. Anyone else experience this and figure out how to fix it?

EDIT: I fixed it. I had to delete the default “My Home” in her Home app first, and then my invitations to her started popping up. I was able to cancel the spinning invite and send another.

Anyone know if it fixes the iPad charging issues, I.e. your iPad is plugged in but not charging?

It’s a growing issue on Apple support boards, and it’s crushing my workflow because I never know if my iPad is charging when plugged in. Doesn’t matter which charger you use...

Do I hear someone saying "Come on noobs, update and treat us your new issues"

Delete all standard homes on iPhone or iPad from a family member you want to connect to. Make it on their iPhone as you’ve started the home app for the first time and you’re about to enter your first accessories. Please don’t forget to make sure there is no other device with a previous home installed in the home app.

Then send invite. That worked for me

Make sure everything is updated to 11.2.1 including Apple TV

I had this happen a few times with my iPad Air. Chalked it up to just an old device. The battery is still fantastic but sometimes when she’s plugged in I can hear the charge sound and the battery turns green. Come back a few hours later and it’s still on the same percentage.

Not according to the release notes or the support document. ;)
You linked to the security-specific release notes (where HomeKit was the only thing addressed from a security point-of-view).

The general release description say “OS 11.2.1 fixes bugs including an issue that could disable remote access to shared users of the Home app.”

Note it says bugs (plural).

Looks like it also fixes this:

I find that hard to believe. If GPS was killed for (a large number) of iPhone 6 users, it sure seems like that issue would of blown up by now or even made news media reports. Did Apple Support offer any help?
I am actually on the phone with Apple Support right now. She told me she has heard of this quite a bit and actually is having the same problem on her own personal iPhone, but doesn't use GPS so hasn't started a ticket for it for herself. Very disheartening that this person who is supposed to help me fix my problem, has the same problem on her phone a cannot figure out how to fix it herself.

That's unfortunate that some are expereincing this. It's a bit odd that it's not something that gets much discussion around here if it was truly something even somewhat widespread.

Apple today released iOS 11.2.1, the eighth official update to the iOS 11 operating system. iOS 11.2.1 comes a week and a half after the release of iOS 11.2, the second major update to the iOS 11 operating system, which brought Apple Pay Cash, faster 7.5W wireless charging, and a long list of bug fixes.

The iOS 11.2.1 update can be downloaded for free on all eligible devices over-the-air in the Settings app. To access the update, go to Settings --> General --> Software Update.

The iOS 11.2.1 update addresses bugs and issues that have been discovered since the release of iOS 11.2.

According to Apple's release notes, the update re-enables remote access for shared users of the Home app. Apple broke remote access for shared users when implementing a fix for a major HomeKit vulnerability last week.

The HomeKit bug allowed unauthorized access to HomeKit accessories that included smart locks, and it was fixed server-side by Apple after it was made public. To address the issue immediately, Apple had to disable remote access for shared users, which the company said it would re-enable through an iOS update this week.

Following today's update, the HomeKit vulnerability is fully patched and remote access for shared users has been reinstated.

HomeKit hub on tvOS 11.2.1 no longer works for iOS 10.x.x devices
Last week I upgraded my Apple TV to tvOS 11.2 and lost remote access to Homekit
Yesterday I upgraded to tvOS 11.2.1 hoping that this HomeKit issue would have been fixed (meaning that I would regain remote access to HomeKit). But it did not solve the issue for my 10.3.3 devices (these devices still do not have remote access) - they only have access on local network. :-(
Does Apple still have to disable the server side fix they did last week? Or has Apple left the older idevices (iPhones and iPads still running iOS10.x.x) in the dark?
Has anybody encountered this issue?

Apple support says that losing GPS functionality is an "emerging issue." I have been dealing with apple support for three hours today and while they seem aware of the problem that many people are having, they don't seem to know what is happening.
