You already have it essentially as it seems to be the same build as beta 6 (which was seen as likely to be the public release version).I thought I downloaded beta 6 an hour ago, but it says im on 11.2.
Or im not seeing 11.2 yet

The notification issues that popped up today probably got Apple to basically get it out ASAP.This is an unusual time to release a major update such as iOS 11.2. Oh well I'm not fussed it's update time.
Well, it seems that the 11.2 beta they released today was meant to be the public release anyway. Typically they would give it more time to soak and probably release it publicly within a week or so of that last beta. In this case it sounds like today's issue got them to do it earlier, but still with a version that seemingly was the same one they were going to release anyway. So they rush this because of a newly discovered high impact bug. Why not release a separate bug fix instead? 11.2.1 will be what 11.2 would've been if they fully completed the beta-testing cycle. Really strange to release a big iOS update around midnight local time. Now they need to have engineers on site in midnight weekends to see if there are any major problems that need an immediate response.
because ios 11 is an epitome of bug filled ios versionUpdates dropping like flies.
An iOS update at this hour?! I guess they come out at midnight PST now.
Apple cash appears to be disabled at the moment. Updated to 11.2 and no options anywhere to turn it on.![]()
Are you in the USA? It’s USA only. Also not seeing Apple Pay with friends or whatever it’s called, even after reboot. Friend who is also on iOS 11.2 now isn’t seeing it either.
