Nothing about fix of the krack patch for older iPads. Now they fixed for iPad Pro 9.7, but what about iPhone SE and older iPad, like iPad Air 1.

So in nutshell,
1. They released the update mainly for the 2nd Dec bug. Beta 6 was released yesterday which probably was the GM so a final 11.2 makes sense when they have everything ready rather than 11.1.3. 11.2 fixes a lot more than just the 2nd Dec bug.
2. Apple Pay Cash - Probably next week and when they switch on something from their end. This was an unexpected release and the Apple Pay Cash will fall in line with the series of updates next Monday/Tuesday with 4.2 and 10.13.2 out as well.
3. Don't moan about Home Button Delay.

Wow I've never seen a Saturday release of iOS update. This is most likely related to the date bug.

I've confirmed that the software update downloaded as usual in the reboot loop.

Also not seeing Apple Pay with friends or whatever it’s called, even after reboot. Friend who is also on iOS 11.2 now isn’t seeing it either.
some features might not work in some regions

What a dumpster fire....Timmy has officially lost control of Apple. Who in their right mind pushes out production code on Friday at midnight?
as long as it addresses bug fixes no issues with that

Those who are fighting a fire that's already in production and trying to keep it from spreading? Would it be better to leave various people hanging with an issue that is effectively making their devices unusable?

Apple Pay Cash (US Only...)

I'm inexperienced in banking politics. So my question is:
Why is Apple not founding a bank of its own? Apple presumably meets the necessary requirements and conditions...
This -Bank integrates seamlessly into the global banking system and has its own credit card. Then the banks have lost their defensive battles against innovation from one day to the next.
E.g.: -Pay still only works with a work-around in many European countries because the banks are ****-conservative and fearful. Apple "stay hungry, stay foolish" please.

American-centered reflections maintain others in your country ;-)

Im refuse to upgrade on a phone over 2 Generations old. Ive experienced one too many times how the upgrade will lag the phone and force the owner to upgrade to a newer model. It has also happened on 2 MacBook airs. I just do not trust Apple when it comes to build upgrades on products over 2 years old.....it's almost as if its intentional to get you to buy a new device. Serious indictment but in truth it's what I have experienced with 1 iPhone 6 plus and both a 2011 MacBook Air and a 2014 MBA. Not cool.

The date bug forced their hand. Interesting, the life of a bug, bringing a nearly trillion dollar company to release prematurely.
