We can start comparing charging techniques now to see which ones are best on the battery.

The battery in my iPhone X purchased on launch day has a maximum capacity of 99%. I charge overnight via fast wireless (Mophie) and occasionally plug in while driving long distances in my car.

Maybe that's because Apple didn't actually build their own headquarters. It's not as if Tim Cook is out there literally laying bricks or anything.

Bro, Timmy built that place with his bare hands, while wearing a suit no less...

The Weather widget hasn't worked since 10.3.3.
Swiping to get to the close option on the lockscreen more often than not causes a respring.
The music app doesn't advance while on the lockscreen.
I was able to do the disappearing app trick the other day (by accident).

Dunno what to tell ya. Might wanna try a restore/reinstall. I just played with the weather widget. It's there, I can see it update, I can interact with it via the 'show more/less' button, or tap on it to go into the weather app directly. Running 11.3b6.

I never have issues going into the close option (I assume you're talking about the drag from the bottom and hold for a second?), and in general, I don't recall the last time I've seen a respring.

I don't look at the music app on the lock screen really, so I don't have feedback on that.

Not sure what the disappearing app trick is. :(

They did the same thing with iOS 11.0, Messages in iCloud was there for most betas, then it was dropped in the GM and the final release. Part of the reason I didn't install this beta was I didn't want to start using it again only to have it dropped again.

Let me know how it goes. My 6s has been super flaky with iOS 11.2.6 (and 11.2.5 for that matter) so as long as no major deal breakers are uncovered in the next few hours I'll probably be updating tonight.
My 6s was previously on 11.2.6 and now on 11.3 it feels faster/smoother all around to me. I’ve only had the update installed for about 45 minutes now but seems good.

Ooh installing now on my 6S, let’s see how she performs after.. then it’s onto the iPads.
Yeah, 11.2.6 been a little flaky on my 6s. How is your 6s after the update?

Yeah, it's been a little underwhelming on my 6s too.

Thanks for the post.

Are the iMessages in order for you guys?

How can I set up Business Chat for customer service for my company? Does it have to be built into our app? Or do people just text us directly?

Updated now and so far so good, actually seems much faster, then again the battery performance setting has now changed and the phone is running on ‘peak performance’, and I know before it was throttled by iOS 11..
So yeah, my battery is fine and my phone is performing as it’s supposed to. Shame it’s taken several months and one huge outcry and a huge scandle at Apple to get there...
Download it and give it a go.

I get everyone is upset about not having iMessage in the cloud, but what if the reason for the delay is better protecting privacy and security? I really don't mind Apple taking their time to get this right.

Apple's mistake was announcing a feature that wasn't ready-enough to be announced. Apple's mistake is not that it isn't released yet.
Agreed. And sometimes this stuff happens. Perhaps it was ready to go and for some reason, it had to be stopped. The reasons are too numerous to even speculate.

It's NOT always (or ever) because of incompetence. Business is complex.

Can somebody help me it says : maximum capacity 79 % Your battery’s health is significantly degraded. An Apple Authorized Service Provider can replace the battery to restore full performance and capacity, what does it mean?? Free new battery ?? Please say yes...

Thanks! Sounds like this update should get things back on track. I just want my 6s to last me until the fall.

Perfect. Hopefully 11.3 takes care of all the little issues I have.
