I have an iPad model A1475 which I believe is the iPad Air(?) so just makes the supported devices list but have the same as above. Latest software is up to date so thinking the model isn't supported or no idea... 5s phone updated no issues really.

A1475 is definitely an iPad Air. It is on the supported list so there will be an update. If you were on the public or dev betas and installed the GM seed you already have the latest version. If you haven't already reboot your device. If it's still not working it's possible the update hasn't propagated to whatever CDN is closest to you. Full IPSW downloads are linked at the bottom of this page, just before the comments section - http://www.redmondpie.com/ios-11-beta-download-features-release-date-update/ the links go to Apples domain so they are safe.

If you download the one for your device you can update through iTunes by command/right clicking on update and selecting the file you downloaded. Make sure you backup first and be careful to download the correct IPSW, iTunes will do a compatibility check first but it's better to be safe than sorry.

iPhone 6 here. Download and update took about what you'd expect, maybe 15-20 minutes all told. So it's working fine. But, man!, that calculator app is horrendous...

Edit: Battery drain today was severe. 100% at 5 am and by 2 pm it was down in the 20's. I read that iOS 11 has bluetooth, etc on by default even if you toggle them off in control center. I'll monitor it tomorrow, or give it time to settle down. Otherwise it might be going back to 10.3.

An annoying thing about this update is that the videos app gets replaced by the tv app - but the tv app only shows purchased videos, not all videos.

So if you have other videos which were not purchased you have to redownload the videos app again from the app store. Thankfully, all videos show up again in the videos app.

If apple want to really replace the videos app with the tv app they need to allow ALL videos to appear in that app, not just purchased ones.

What exactly is the point of doing it the way they did? Everyone is going to redownload the videos app and never look at the tv app again.

I’m tempted to even delete the tv app!

EDIT: Some of this post is incorrect (thanks to NMBob for correcting me below). You can actually show other videos via the Library V in the tv app. Hate that though. It is still better set out in the videos app!
What videos app? And how do you re-download from the App Store?

Apple today officially released iOS 11, the newest operating system designed for the iPad, iPhone, and iPad touch. iOS 11 is available on the iPhone 5s and later, the iPad mini 2 and later, the iPad Air and later, and the 6th-generation iPod touch.

The update is available on all eligible devices over-the-air in the Settings app. To access the update, go to Settings --> General --> Software Update. It could potentially take a few minutes for the update to propagate to all users due to high demand.

iOS 11 is a major update that brings a refreshed look and feel to both the iPhone and the iPad. It introduces subtle design changes to interface elements throughout the OS, like bolder text, a new look for apps, revamped icons, and a redesigned usage experience for the Lock screen and the Control Center.

Apple has merged the Lock screen and the Notification Center, so a downwards swipe now brings up the Lock screen and notifications. The Control Center is now customizable and does more, and 3D Touch integration has been expanded.

Siri is smarter than ever and has a new, more natural voice, and Siri is now cross-device, letting the personal assistant learn more about you. Siri can also translate English into several different languages like Spanish and Chinese.

iOS 11 feels a lot different on an iPad. There's now a persistent Dock at the bottom of the display that you can bring up anytime with a swipe, and there's a new App Switcher that's similar to Mission Control on the Mac, letting you see all of your apps -- even those in split-view windows -- at a glance. Apple Pencil does more on iPad Pro, and a new Drag and Drop feature lets you drag links, images, files, and more from one app to another.

A new Files app introduces improved file management, and many apps have new features. Notes offers searchable handwriting and document scanning, Maps has lane guidance and speed limit info, Apple Music lets you see what your friends are listening to, and there are a new tools for editing Live Photos.

HomeKit now supports speakers and AirPlay 2 adds multi-room functionality, while Do Not Disturb has been expanded to encompass driving. In a future update, Apple plans to add iCloud Messages and a person-to-person Apple Pay feature.

On the iPad, there's a handy new "Flick" keyboard, while the iPhone has new one-handed keyboard options. You'll see a completely different App Store after installing iOS 11, and a whole host of apps with new capabilities thanks to ARKit and other under-the-hood improvements.

Note: When iOS 11 is installed, all older 32-bit apps will no longer launch. These are apps that have not been updated for several years, and Apple has discontinued support. Only 64-bit apps are compatible with the new update.

Impressive IOS update!! I love it. All icons are beautifully designed and functions are awesome. Thanks and kudos to Apple!!

iPhone 6 here. Yes, Siri didn’t change AT ALL and doesn’t sound anything like the samples I have heard on YouTube for iOS 11. I get a bad feeling those of us on the 6 didn’t get the goodies. :-(

I have a 7. The voice changed this morning so it looks like it takes time for that to change.

Does having the public beta GM installed somehow exclude you from this update? I’ve deleted the beta profile and rebooted.

Technically I’m all set with iOS 11 and have no interest in downloading and installing the exact same build just for the heck of it. What I need is watchOS 4, but that’s not showing up either.

I respect that it takes time to propagate this stuff to millions of devices, but it’s been 13+ hours. The longest delays I’ve seen in the past have been around an hour or so.

Edit: After restarting the Watch it detected the update immediately. Still nothing on iOS. So I guess it’ll take an 11.0.1 patch to trigger it. Cool.
I have an jPhone SE that has the GM also. I read that the public GM IS the actual released version. Like you my SE says no update available. THe version we got is the newest OS from all I have read.

hats so

Nope, nope, and nope. Never download a new OX with a .00-01 suffix. And since I'm keeping my 3 year old phone for awhile yet, I may never download it since it's at the point where newer OS's will make it run like an old android.

People report otherwise with the 6

I was able to install iOS 11 on my iPhone 7, but my iPad Pro (9.7" cellular) still shows 10.3.3 as most current. Is there any way to get the update to show up!?

Still so very unsure about the need for "fresh & updated in an iOS" just because it's easy. How about getting it right the first time and sticking to what works, with minor refreshenings, and let Windows be the only one to need to reinvent every 3-4 years (let Windows be the only one to admit they failed 3-4 years ago so HOW 'BOUT THIS?)

I have the opposite problem. Was able to update my iPad last night but phone still shows 10.3.3 as most current.

Battery is draining a bit fast but it is too early to say really. I will wait a couple of days to judge on that

Ugh. Please do keep us posted on the battery life changes as you notice them.

Upgrading from iOS 8 to 10 dropped my iPhone 6's battery life immediately (the battery itself still tests fine even now at Genius bar and a refresh didn't fix it), even after adopting a bunch of use-case ways to avoid it draining.

I was really hoping iOS 11 was going to fix those issues!

Thx.
