Bad move. If you go ahead then you CAN go back if you don't like it or it doesn't suit you. If you wait, Apple will no longer sign 10.3.3 and you will be stuck with it.

See above comment.

I totally get your point. But I'm not going back and forth and will ultimately have the newest iOS running at all times.

But like I said it's just not worth updating the second anything is released any more.

Still no update available OTA for my Apple TV and Apple Watch.

Wait! There it is for my Apple TV. Still nothing for the watch though.

I am a coward. I wait and listen to what other SE user say about the update. I fear it makes my phone slower.
There are plenty of posts about that device having little to no issues during Beta. So far the 5S and some 6 owners have been the most vocal about speed / performance. Since your device is based on newer architecture and also supports AR Kit, you are in a far better situation.

Whatever. Major update for my iPad Pro.

Agreed,

My 10.5 ran on iOS 10 for the first week I had it, the differences are huge on this device. Perhaps iOS 11 will be more remembered as an iPad release, more than for the phones. That said, I like the new control center on my 7. With a new case, screen protector, and now iOS update, I feel like it is a nice refresh to a good device.

I don't have my Mini 4 anymore, (loved it), but, sadly, ARkit is not supported, need A9 or better, so you'll miss out on the new AR apps :(
Well, my 6s has a A9, but I have a feeling the experience won't be as "smooth" as on the more powerful iPhones. It would be nice if Apple updated the iPad mini (in my dreams) and made it look similar to the new iPhone X - OLED, larger display in same size body or maybe same size display in smaller body after reducing the bezel size with an A11, FaceID, 3D Touch, ARkit support, dual camera with OIS, etc. That size would be perfect for AR.

First person to install iOS 11 on iPad mini 2, please post your impressions here. How's the general performance and responsiveness, is it as usable as iOS 10?

You may need to remove the Apple Beta profile or you may not see it (only new betas)... but I could be wrong on this. Just in case, I removed it in my iPad

Well I just removed the profile and it doesn't show anything.
I am still curious if it was the GM or not the final one.

Anyway - Thanks for reminding me!

Based on how fast this thread is growing, MacRumor’s forum server is getting hammered just as hard as Apple’s servers!

6S+ got a little toasty during update, but otherwise install seems fine. Brightness isn't as bright though.

I don't think it's a matter of liking it or not. It's a matter of "what issue is going to exist in the first hour that bricks some phones without a full restore." I too have gotten bitten by that one a few times and I will also be waiting at least a few hours to update.
A few hours sure. But this has had 10 betas and a GM with both devs and public testing so if there was an inherent "bricking" issue, there would be lots of news regarding it by now. OTA works best if folks close all apps then reboot before updating. One of the ones you mention was with the iP6 and no cell service however was OTA update only not iTunes. But yeah I missed that one because kept getting no update found while I was trying until it was pulled within the hour! I dodged that bullet luckily! :)
