There have been reports of benchmarks showing the 5S being a bit (tenths if a second) slower on iOS 11.

I’ve been beta testing 11 on a 6S, 6, 5S & iPad Air 2.

TBH the 6 and 6S units were more unstable prior to the Golden Master and the 5S seemingly ran perfectly with no noticeable change in performance. The 6 has the most drivability problems but these disappeared with the final beta a week ago.

Even now I have a bit of (non frustrating) animation stuttering (keyboard when typing) on my 6S that has not been present on the 5S. (I recall similar from previous annual upgrades and Apple always fixed that. This year it’s almost unnoticeable so don’t fret.)

I recommend all 5S users (as well as all newer units do the iOS 11 upgrade. There are also security fixes and a bunch of improvements in Control Center as well as a nice new document scanner & data table option built into notes).

Stability and speed seem acceptable on all the above models.

Had some issues on public beta, sluggishness and some app crashes.
I reset all settings before I did a full restore and it worked great, just in case anyone is considering a clean install.

So I got it on my iPhone 7. Under settings>Update Apple ID Settings it is stuck on "waiting for approval" Nothing pops up on my iPad or Macbook.

Logged into icloud via the website nothing.

I keep swiping from the left edge of the screen to get into multitasking. Will take me awhile to remember it no longer exists. Bring it back Apple.

If you're on the latest public beta released, do we have to update or is it the same? Thanks!

Build number 15A372.
I am having an issue with sending picture through camera roll as a message. Only gives me email option. Any one else have this issue?

Just tried on my iPad 12.9, works fine for me.

Yes I have. One thats annoying is when playing music the album art doesn't always display correctly on the lock screen and I have the orientation not work 100% plus some other minor bugs

I saw this once on my iPad Air last week and duly reported via Feedback Assistant.

Let us know how you get on with your SE, I found it buggy, and battery was draining quicker than 10.3.3

So far so good. My SE is freaking hot and battery is draining like crazy but I think that is all due to the inumerous indexing processes going on at the moment. Man, I have to say the revamped App Store will take some time to get used to, it looks absolutely horrible! Apart from that, it was a smooth update and iPhone is as responsive as it was on iOS 10. Now I am preparing for the hours long Apple Watch update ☺️
