Sad: Apple used to ridicule Microsoft for needing to constantly fix its software, but it looks like the shoe could be on the other foot now......
"But some of the foundational changes, especially ones affecting third-party developers, should be prioritized for the .0. And that didn't go quite as planned."They're already doing that.
(13.2 will likely come with Deep Fusion, for example.)

I have zero problems. No surprise..... the worst iOS update ever.
These are point releases. “Ready” in software is relative. It clearly worked well enough. So imo, it was ready. Now we can say almost for sure that iOS 13 was not ready when went public around two weeks ago.
The bug is a bug even if nobody buys HomePod. The bug is a disaster for those few who did buy the device.I have to laugh at the comments about Shortcuts on HomePod.
All we hear on MR is how lousy the HomePod is and how nobody is buying them. Then suddenly when a HomePod bug appears it's a disaster? How can a bug on something nobody has be a disaster?
Another update? What, are we on the beta cycle now?!?
Still no watch or HomePod update? Odd.
I'd rather Apple take the time to release a proper update. Bugs happen, I get it, but this is just insane.Everyone complaining about the updates, would you rather have no updates with fixes?
If nobody buys the HomePod how ya going to know a bug exists? The bug is a bug even if nobody buys HomePod. The bug is a disaster for those few who did buy the device.

You're not flexible enough, Flexiboy...Totally agree , these daily releases will make the public fed up soon.
Well.. Dark Mode was made for hiding all the bugs in the dark... lolNow imagine if Apple decided to overhaul the whole iOS design when they already F up so much by just turning it black LOL
Has Apple ever patched their GM this many times in the course of 2 weeks?
"Maybe even stagger the release of iOS so that only the new iPhones get the latest iOS with everyone getting it a few weeks late "XR user - I only installed 13.1 from 12. It was pretty stable out of the door. There is a slightly rough around the edges feeling to it but nothing too bad.
I would much prefer Apple to pull back on launch day featuresfocus on stability & then gradually roll out features.
Maybe even stagger the release of iOS so that only the new iPhones get the latest iOS with everyone getting it a few weeks later.
it’s clear that the September ‘Big Bang’ launch day is killing the software team as iOS and MacOS are getting more and more complex.
iPhone 11 Pro now stuck with Apple logo and a spinning circle, after trying to install this update. Won't turn off or restart. Any ideas on a fix for this?

Only problem with that is, is when Apple releases new Watch models they come with the latest of watchOS installed and they're only compatible with the latest version of iOS. So if you're someone that has an older iPhone and buy the newest model Apple Watch that'll be a problem if Apple does what you suggest. That means new Watch owners will have to wait till the latest version of iOS is released for their older model iPhones.
