I'd much rather they roll out bug fixes as soon as they are ready and tested vs. waiting weeks and weeks. I for one am happy to see this change in iOS updates vs. Apple's previous methodology in years past.

Not sure what everyone is complaining about. Is it really that inconvenient to apply an iOS update? If you'd rather wait weeks to install the update and pretend that the bugs have not yet been fixed, you can still do that. For the rest of the world, I'm sure most people would prefer to have the bug fixes as soon as they are ready.

Seriously hope some of the bugs I’ve seen are fixed, getting annoyed with iOS 13 more than any other version. Right this minute I’m on first FaceTime call since updating and the damn home bar and icons, time are not disappearing.

what is your issue? Mine works fine
* Both of my Nucleus 7 sound processors (bilateral cochlear implants) begin streaming at random times even though there is no media playing (nothing to stream)
* Volume in both implants reverts to 0 upon iPhone reboot
* Pairing is hit or miss (sometimes the iPhone doesn’t even detect the sound processors)
* iPhone takes almost 3 minutes to shut down while paired to my sound processors. Unpairing my implants resolves this issue.

This iPhone XR worked perfectly with my implants while running iOS 12.4.1.

95% of the world is like my wife...her phones have all updated without her ever realizing.
Web browsers, apps etc all update often, weekly sometimes. I’d prefer more often updates rather than have buggy stuff.

From what I've read it seems like iOS 12 is the Snow Leopard of iOS. I'll be staying with it.

Apple today released iOS and iPadOS 13.1.2, updates to the iOS and iPadOS 13.1.1 software that was released on Friday.

The iOS and iPadOS 13.1.2 updates are available on all eligible devices over-the-air in the Settings app. To access the updates, go to Settings > General > Software Update.

According to Apple's notes for the beta, the iOS 13.1.2 update introduces bug fixes for several issues, including problems with the camera, iCloud backup, flashlight, and more. There are also separate release notes for the iPadOS 13.1.2 update:iOS 13.1.1, released last Friday, was also a bug fix update and came after iOS 13.1, released a week ago.

So does this mean the iPhone 11 pros with the 'Warm/yellow' tinted displays are now fixed? I was just thinking this because of the display calibration? maybe its related!

Totally agree , these daily releases will make the public fed up soon.

Not really. I mean, think about it, at least Apple is putting out continual releases to fix issues at a reasonable time frame versus delaying them where we could see updates months later. I’d rather have them rectified now versus having to deal with intermittent issues that potential he could take longer to address.

The updates compound if a household has multiple iPhones, watches, iPads, etc. Especially, if one person does all the updates for their family.

When you say "does all the updates" are you referring to clicking the update button and typing in the device passcode?

A second update 72 hrs later is really low-rent amateur night stuff. Why put the earlier one out at all? Its not like they didn't know the .2 was hours away.

12 pages of people complaining about “broken” iOS13. 🤯

I’ve been using iOS13 since day one on my X going through all beta releases and on my 7+ being updated on 19th. To be honest, I have no idea where are all those “issues” coming from. Comparing iOS13 to 11 is just ridiculous since 13 is as stable as iOS12 was in its first days and is not even close to that disaster that iOS11 used to be.

I personally would either recommend updating to 13.

So bashing Android is still a valid defense when people come out with legitimate criticism os iOS? Comparing 1000+ iPhones with a cheap Chinese phone's update schedule is something only a iSheep can come up with anyways.
My $1000 Note 9 would like to have a word with you. Anything other than Pixels or Android One phones generally don’t get updates for a long time.

what's wrong with people complaining because Apple is fixing issues ???

me too !
I had a couple of glitches and nothing more. So far a very solid update.

I highly doubt that. Most users probably wont even notice bcause of automatic updates being on and doing it while they sleep. I would say all my family and most friends don't pay any attention to updates. They just happen. Of course update to a whole new OS that is clearly a change, is certainly different story but point releases, not so much. Its funny to read in MR most everyone is begging for an update and there are separate threads guessing and hoping for them, then others are wishing iOS was like Android and hardly ever updated.

Edit: It's tiny at 79 MB, installing now hopefully it works
Which is really a lie because when I try to update OTA it says the update is 42 MB but after it downloads it says you must have 1.7 GB available free so I can’t update OTA. It’s a fabricated lie. Guess I need to plug into iTunes.

Appearing no one on the iOS Team has heard of branches and merging either. Oh vey.

Well, since 13 and 13.1 both had betas released at the same time, followed by GA of 13/13.1 plus quick succession releases of 13.1.1 and today’s update ... that would seem to suggest the opposite of what you’re suggesting, as they could have easily merged fixes for bugs reported in one of those last 13.0 beta builds (that released in tandem with the 13.1 betas) into 13.1.1 or today’s update.

No proof that they didn’t, at any rate.
