Thanks. So what are the steps to do that then ? You say option click check for update then what do you need to do ? (Sorry la not by my Mac at the minute )no. Everything is as it was.

This is not true. You can not restore from a backup that was made with iOS 13.1. Don’t waste your time.just download the correct iOS 13 IPSW and hold option then click check for update then you will select the IPSW file then let it do its thing.
Seriously? Give up on this. There is no restoring. Somehow Apple is letting people downgrade via iTunes. They’ve never allowed this before but they are now. It is real, and there is no backup/restore involved.Nope. No, you did not. You can not restore a backup made with iOS 13.1 to a phone running iOS 13.0.
You can “update” in place from 13.1 to 13. I also did it by downloading the IPSW for my XR and then option clicking in iTunes. I’m running Mojave on my Mac. Worked as if I was updating to newer release of iOS. The only hiccup that I noticed is that all my photos that were stored in iCloud Photos library had to be reupdated in the photos app on my phone, so initially it said I only had 300 photos and videos vs. the 15,xxx I had in iCloud. But nothing was lost and everything works great and I won’t have to worry about setting up my 11 tomorrow with 13.1 beta before I can restore which is all I really cared about.

I believe that this was something that was available for some time now -- being able to select a downloaded IPSW and have it install (as long as it was the right one for the device and still signed).Seriously? Cool. how did you reupdate thephoto library ?
Even when going to a previously released version? As far as I knew you could only downgrade that way if you first put your phone in restore or DFU mode first. And doing so would mean having to restore from an older backup or losing everything. Otherwise you could only upgrade to a newer version of iOS, even with the "Option-click-update" method. Either way, I'm glad you can now!I believe that this was something that was available for some time now -- being able to select a downloaded IPSW and have it install (as long as it was the right one for the device and still signed).
I believe the best way to go about that is to download the iOS 13.1 beta profile from the dev portal on your iPhone 11 (Pro/Plus). I read that somewhere today.Has the 13.1 public beta for the 11’s come out yet? I’m not considering downgrading (or updating) my current iPhone to 13.0. If the public beta is not available tomorrow, I’ll just setup my iphone 11 as new since practically all pertinent information is stored in iCloud.
I’m asking about the public beta. I’m not a developer.I believe the best way to go about that is to download the iOS 13.1 beta profile from the dev portal on your iPhone 11 (Pro/Plus). Read that somewhere today.
My bad. Probably not, then. I don't even see it on the dev portal. That said, there are plenty of places to download beta profiles (.com).I’m asking about the public beta. I’m not a developer.
Typically, the public release is the following day after the developer’s, so hopefully sometime early tomorrow. 🤞. If not, I’ll be setting my new iPhone up as new, which probably isn’t a bad idea anyways. My bad. Probably not, then. I don't even see it on the dev portal. That article is a bit dated... (after a dayGuys, this seems to be the best article I've found that carefully explains what to do (or NOT do) if you are on iOS 13.1 and need to know what the deal is going to be when that new 11 or 11 Pro gets in our hands tomorrow:

How to transfer data to a new iPhone if you're on a beta
If you've been testing the latest version of iOS on your current iPhone, but plan to get a new iPhone in the fall, restoring your new iPhone from a backup of the old can get a little tricky if you'rewww.imore.com
Did everything work out fine?So far so good, my 11 Pro is transferring everything from the ancient XS. Any idea how this thing works? My XS has jumped off my office WiFi network (or so it says) so I'm assuming maybe it uses a combo of Bluetooth & device-to-device WiFi?
You know what? Time to put up or shut up, @Braderunner.
Here's unbroken video of me going from 13.1 b4 to 13.0 downgrade on my daily 6S. No data loss. No gimmicks. Now please, don't open your mouth and call someone out when you clearly have no idea what you're talking about. 🤡 Happy iPhone Eve, everyone. Stay safe out there.
play at 2x, it's a long one

Apple Pay Cash showing on the wallet app here in UK, for me at least but not yet able to activate and Apple new+
Did you use a developer profile or a public beta profile?I can confirm that none of the above is needed if you're on the 13.1 Beta. I started up my new iPhone Pro Max as a new phone, installed the beta profile and updated the phone to 13.1 Beta 4 (latest), after that I wiped the phone and when starting it up I was able to just restore it from my 13.1 backup. Easy peasy!![]()

Excellent news! Thanks for relaying the info. I’ll be doing the same later today when my new Pro Max arrives.I just got my 11 Pro. Installed the PUBLIC beta profile through Apple’s beta program page and a few moments later I was able to download 13.1 beta 4. It’s installing as I write
