I’m finding it to be faster than 13.0, really fluid, and the few small bugs I had with 13.0 are gone! On an XR.

I think the fuss over the releases being buggy is overblown. At least for my “normal” use.

WHat’s the verdict?

Devs on Twitter seem to be saying wait for 13.2. 13.1, while not the dumpster fire that 13.0 was, is still a hot mess.

What say ye?

It’s not perfect but I wouldn’t take too much notice of Twitter experts, i don’t think I’ve ever seen an iOS release that twitter didn’t recommend skipping until the next one. I’d say 13.0 was basically still a beta-standard release, 13.1 is what in a normal year 13.0 probably would’ve been, ie. safe but needs a little ironing out.

Anybody know how the new Block Sender feature in Mail works? It says that when you block a sender, it will move all email from that sender to the trash. This is not working for me. iOS 13.1, Xs Max.

My bank's app (Schwab) has been unstable since updating to 13 with no improvement on 13.1

How long can one expect this to continue? Traveling soon and this has me slightly nervous

Sorry if this has already been asked and I can't see where, but my iPhone max keeps asking me for my Apple ID over and over and over.
anyone else?

I had to enter my Apple ID password a few times but it eventually settled down.

Updating my iPad Air2 to iOS / iPadOS 13.1 killed my wifi connectivity. I am not able to connect to any password protected networks. When I try to connect it acts as if the password is wrong. I tried resetting networks settings, but it won't work. I am still able to join xfinity wifi network which is not password protected, but that's about it. I chatted with Apple Support and they ran a remote diagnostic and said that all looks good. They recommended that I make an appointment at the Apple Store. This is not an isolated problem. Others with Air2 have the same issue.

Downgrade to 12.4.1 while it's still signed is your best bet.

I have had some wonkyness with a few apps since IOS 13. My fix has been to delete the app and reinstall. So far, that has worked every time.

No, capturing outside the frame with the camera app and then editing (cropping the pic)

I have the issue on the 11 Pro. I wonder if it's an 11 Pro issue and not a 11 Pro Max issue

***I figured it out. It only works from the Photos app. Trying to adjust from the camera app fails.

Thanks for saving me many headaches. I won't upgrade

Hmm... still didn’t seem to fix mail issues with deleting selected items...

What are they?
Are they secret bugs or are you willing to share???
Why not share them? We like to know about them...
Cool...and....care to share what you found?

On my iPad Mini, the settings app keeps bugging me to "Update Apple ID Settings" (basically type in my iCloud password). I type it in and it asks me to type in my iPad passcode. After 1-2 minutes later, it asks me to do the same thing. I believe this has something to do with iCloud Keychain.

Second bug is something that existed since iPhone X was released. If you attempt Face ID when your face isn't in view, numb pad is sometimes unresponsive. You can recreate this 100% of the time by doing the following: Swipe up, intentionally fail Face ID, make the numb pad appear, swipe up slightly again to hide the numbpad but don't release your finger. Instead swipe down to make numbpad reappear. If you do this, the top half of the numbpad is unresponsive. This happens a lot in real world usage when you frustratingly swipe up multiple times when FaceID fails.

I've had that happen in the past with previous iOS version update. I think I signed out then signed back into iCloud perhaps?

Same here. I have no WiFi connectivity on my Air 2.

With 13.0, FaceID was working from about 3-4” farther away which was awesome. With 13.1, it seems to be back to me having to bring the phone closer to my face. It’s the difference between leaving the phone on the devices at registers or putting it on the device, bringing it a few inches closer, then putting it on the device again.

Ironically, that’s exactly what happened to my MacBook Pro from 2012. Directly after I updated it to Mac OS 10.12, it’s WiFi failed (if really it did) I am forced to use my iPhone USB cable and tether internet from it. It’s airport card suddenly didn’t show in the hardware anymore!
I am sneakingly hoping that will come back to life again... some day. It would make my day to be able to conclude that it indeed was a software issue, as opposed to what the support told me. I mean: the coincidence is epic!
