There is an animation glitch when you are in application and press the home button. When minimization animation completes, the app icon subsequently moves one pixel on the home screen.

I also get a bit of a motion sickness because the background and icons keep moving for a little bit too long. Something strange is happening just at the end of animation.

I have iPhone 8 Plus.

What I’d like to know is how you can physically see something move 1 pixel

I’m on iOS 13.1 now. I couldn’t change the volume when I received a call over Bluetooth in the car. Tested with my wife’s phone, still on iOS 12, and changing the volume worked. Anyone else having that problem?

I just updated and got this message on the computer where my phone is charging.

I'm hesitant to install anything because this particular machine needs to be on a non-current OS for work related software compatibility

Any idea where to find info about what exactly is getting installed?

Not a hardware pixel, a software pixel. I am a web developer and yes, you can see a difference of one pixel.

But, I might be wrong here, it could be two pixels.

Do you have your format set to high efficiency?
Yes, and I have also enabled the setting in the camera settings. I take a picture in 1x and then when I edit it and click on the crop button, I don't see the rest of the captured frame. I tried that with Live Photos on and off. I have also tried with 2x but with no success. Any ideas?

When updating to iOS 13.1 from a beta version, do you just remove the beta profile?
I went looking for the profile to remove after I saw the update was available but after I installed the update it appears to have automatically removed the feedback app and the profile. Cause I no longer have a profile section in my Settings > General area

I can confirm. Email notifications were not working in 13.0. They are now working for me in 13.1. I have Exchange, Yahoo and iCloud accounts that I have received notifications for without opening the mail app.

still waiting for more people to email me :)

I thought share ETA was only just that the ETA not your location
No, it does both. I think I kinda figured it out. It seems that clicking on the Share ETA button brings up your recent contacts, which for me all showed the Messages icon. But, if you click on Contacts, you can search for people, and for anyone who is on 13.1, their iCloud email will show up as an option along with Maps. This causes a Maps notification to show up on their end, and then their Maps app will display you and your progress on the route. So, it won't work if they are also in the midst of a route (say to the same place, if you were meeting at a restaurant).

Also, you seem to have the Maps option, where it displays your progress visually, or you have the iMessage option, where you get text messages sent initially and then every time your ETA changes substantially. But not both - you have to choose.

So as soon as I downloaded 13.1 all of my Hue lights in the Home App say they are not responding. I power cycled the Hue bridge and also reset the HomeKit settings within the Hue app. Anyone else noticing any Hue issues since install iOS 13.1?

It's installing a new USB driver to talk to the phone since they changed the protocol in iOS 13.

Not a huge deal; I already did it on a few machines running Mojave to no ill-effect. However for some reason this update takes a LONG TIME to install even though it should theoretically be fairly small. Once it installs though, it'll all work again.
