Interesting, I don't see an update for iPad Pro.My iPad Pro on 14.2 found an update to.... 14.2 with over 4GB.
Downloading now.
Or Apple had to find a workaround because the carriers were moving too slow on their end.So Apple finally admits it was an issue on their end, after blaming the carriers that it was their problem for the last 2 weeks.
...or buy a new iPhone. So I take it those without the 12 just have to continue to suffer?![]()

That's what some people are reporting in the iPhone 12 threads. Are you being serious?
Oh I never meant my problem. I'm running no True Tone and it's cool as can be. Some are saying it a legit problem.Switch off True Tone.
I sure hope it fixes my issue that's completely unrelated to the three very specific bullet points in this x.x.1 update release.
Our "suffering" will probably only last until 14.3 comes in the next few weeks. It's not a lifetime...So I take it those without the 12 just have to continue to suffer?![]()

It's basically behind how group messaging and messaging with media (photos, videos, etc.) works outside of iMessage and basically agnostic of which particular device someone has.People still send MMS? I haven’t used that since Nokia was a thing and even then only sent them by mistake, costing you 49 cent a piece from your 5 euro prepaid card lol. Not sure if those are even still working here.
Cause some of us have friends that have Android devices and seriously want to send an image attached.People still send MMS? Then again, if I sever all my Android friends, I won't need this update! I'm friending wrong!
Go toNeat! I'd be curious to see if this fixes the yellow tint problem, but I'm not holding my breath.
It definitely is when you miss lots of important messages throughout the day.Our "suffering" will probably only last until 14.3 comes in the next few weeks. It's not a lifetime...
Is this for iMessage or just sms?It definitely is when you miss lots of important messages throughout the day.Hopefully they add the fix to the next 14.3 beta. In the meantime, I've found that exiting to the main messaging screen before switching to another app seems to help a bit; not completely reliable but makes it a bit less annoying.
What carrier? No change with 14.2.1. Still no SMS messages coming through on 12 Pro.
Pretty sure it's more of a standard thing when it comes to basic SMS/EMS/MMS protocols, with MMS being used for group messaging in addition to messages with media.just checked and it must an American thing. MMS never took off here. The carriers have actually planned to deactivate it this August. Everyone is using WhatsApp here
I experience it with iMessage but the verification texts that come via SMS sometimes do seem to work fine, but I would image that's affected as well overall. Is this for iMessage or just sms?
