I believe this was done so 4 icons line up with a square 4x4 widget. They had to shrink the vertical spacing.
Its bothering me like crazy now.

Thank you. Hadn’t remembered this feature. Now I have double tap for screenshots and triple tap for Control Centre. So handy.

Calendar is a visual mess now. It’s harder to see the separation between the days in list mode. The day and date should at least be larger or a different color.
You can still make all the folders you want, have all the apps on screens, and App Library just sits on one last page. This is far from new information.
My thoughts exactly. first thing I wanted to do after upgrading was turn this off
there's a new home screen section in settings and this is where you should be able to toggle off app library

No, it's a peach #PeachGateOne quick observation.. The iOS 14 wallpapers look like ass. As in, it really does look like an ass.

Is that an SE (Gen 1)? Mine did that earlier in the day when I tried to go from 13.6 to 13.7. Once it restored to 13.7 (after looking like it failed) it needed to install something having to do with iTunes before iTunes could talk to the phone. It wiped out the phone, but I just use it for music, and finding out things like this.
Now they've locked access to photos down for sharing with apps such as fb & WhatsApp, next step should be access to contacts.
I'm actually surprised that wasn't in there also. It seems ludicrous I have to give an app access to all my info and relations, just to use it.

Hm. IOS 14 is available on the phone, but since the phone is my only internet connection, i can't download it there, even though i have unlimited data.
So if I go to Finder on my Mac, it is offering me to download 13.7 (I'm on 13.6.1), and it doesn't get the newer update information from the phone.
I'm just so tired of Apple. Not kidding, this is the end of the line. Time to move on to something more functional.

if they really wanted to spy on you secretly they wouldn’t even bother displaying a switch to begin with. It could just be embedded in the code without any user-facing controls.
I’m not repeating a tiring joke, but safari is indeed snappier!
