Honestly this might be the best iOS update yet, the changes to the Health app, haptics for the keyboard, Lock Screen widgets, new WatchOS UI, and heck everything just feels faster and more refined.
I was thinking a few hours after updating that this may be the most disappointing. Maybe it will feel better after some of the other features get released over the coming months.

iPhone 13 Pro 128GB user here.

Updated last night. IDK if I'm right but iOS 16 feels a little bit laggy, especially when using 3rd party apps.

Anyone feeling the same way?

Was there no splash screen after updating? It seemed weird not seeing one.

I immediately forgot what all the new features were apart from the customisation of the lock screen. I then remembered about the new focus features and how confusing that was to set up last year, and then I couldn’t be bothered with it and didn’t care about the update. It took me a while to find the haptic feedback for the keyboard & I left that off anyway.

For some reason, adding my AirPods battery to the lock screen removed my Apple Watch battery. I then remembered how annoying I find customisation and how overwhelming it can be, which is why I’ve preferred iOS to Android.

where's the "perspective" affect gone? you know, the feature that when you tilted the phone the wallpaper perspective adjusted?

i can't seem to see that option anymore, and i had it enabled on both lock and home screen before upgrade, and now it's gone.

this support article suggests it should still there, but it ain't for me

Is anyone noticing a slowdown on the iPhone 11 Pro after the upgrade to iOS 16? I have this model, and I am worried that typing and overall performace will lag on my older phone with iOS 16.

I remember almost throwing my iphone 4 out the window after an iOS update - had problems with ttext keeping up with my typing. Actually, the whole system was hrooibly slow...

I just did the security update for now...

Updated my 13 without any issues. Although the new notification grouping is very annoying, I much preferred them being in the middle of the Lock Screen.
you can change that back if you go onto Settings > Notifications > List

The new wallpapers suck! What, no live photos anymore? If so people will be pissed! No true dynamic wallpapers anymore? For years I waited for something other than bubbles - now the best I can have is a sort of “live photos” version of bubbles on the lock screen with all the other screens static! WTF…
