Apple Releases iOS 17 With StandBy, Live Voicemail, Improved Autocorrect, FaceTime Video Messages and Tons More

Did anyone else's storage space go down? I was at 90GB, now 85GB, and under where all apps & stuff are showed, it says iOS (17.0) 10.99GB is it supposed to be that big?

The carplay sharing is a surprise I wasnt expecting!

Crossfade has definitely been long overdue

So here is my two cents since I have the same issue. Usually when you go to the page there is a delay before you see beta options. Likely it runs a check if you’re part of the beta program then gives you options. With everyone trying to upgrade the servers are likely hammered. Wait a while and check again I’m betting it will pop up.

Also PSA: if you’re getting a new phone/watch whatever Friday you should turn beta updates off for now. The devices will ship with this version and it’s a pain if you have to get the new devices on beta to restore backup. All assuming a beta drops this week.

Edit: I was right started showing after the rush yesterday.

This is the first time I remember that they removed functionality: specifially they removed scrubbing on full screen video by dragging anywhere on the video - really useful feature!

Anyone else having AT&T carrier issues upon upgrading? I'm getting only the satellite icon and no cell service. Does the upgrade require Wi-Fi to complete the update and/or activate service..? I was on Wi-Fi at home but left in the car and was on 5G LTE. Upon completion I only have the satellite icon now and I cannot complete any calls, etc.
 
One of the best features: “Fast” Haptic Touch almost feels like 3D Touch.

Settings> Accessibility> Touch> Haptic Touch

After a shutdown/reboot it's working fine now. Grr.
