Very underwhelming and AI seems very slow. Quicker to just copy into chartgpt app.

The mail app looks awful with that primary and shopping cart logos above it now.

Think I’ll be switching those new features off
I think the new mail app categories have pros / cons. As someone who religiously maintains my inbox, I don’t really care for it. However, for my wife who is the type of person with 10k+ unread emails and avoids her mail like the plague unless she needs something, the new AI and auto categorize features will help make her mail app usable again. Able to isolate the personal emails that may actually be important vs the spam that makes it through filters and generic order emails she doesn’t bother to clean up, etc.

Can anyone confirm if date or caption searches work in Photos with iOS 18.2? I know it was removed in iOS 18 and I've been holding off as I heavily reply upon these type of searches. I've used Photos for 15+ years and adding captions to images etc. I was not happy to find out this functionality was removed with iOS 18. I routinely search 12.11 in Photos to find all images from Dec 11th (as an example) and I'm hoping Apple adds this functionality back. Thanks in advance!

Huh, 18.2 RC2 was only in public testing for 2 days and this public release still has a new build, wonder what the two sets of changes were

Anything new for none-AI enabled markets? All I have seen so far was that I could set a different browser as default browser. That was it.

A lot of non-Apple apps stopped partially working or have become very slow after the update. Anyone else?

After updating on my 15PM, Apple Intelligence is not working. Migrated back to old Siri. Getting Message that need to download Apple Intellgence over WIFI and Power On 😩😩

I was looking forward to the new mail update… but it’s so sh*t 😅 and everything on my “Primary” tab seems weirdly shifted/misaligned to the right.
