Nothing for my ipad pro m4 here.It is already there, but only for iPads not supporting 18, so 17.7.2 is the end for iPhones...
There needs to be a video of all the things you can do with iOS 18.2 on an iPhone 15 or older models.
Email categorisation not available on iPadOS. Nice fragmentation.
Have to enable AI in Settings and download the Playground app. Guess it is not ready for prime time.

You don't need to pay anyone, just roll back. Its a bit of a fiddle but iOS 17.6 beta 3 is still signed so install the IPSW with iTunes and then update to 17.7.2.
I just updated my 15 Pro too - in the UK - and no new features there either.

I think you miss the point in the whole AI for everyone. So far this is being given for free. Not monthly charge it will get better over time. Granted ChatGPT and say Gemini might be better. But they also suffer from a lot of hullucinations and other errors.
... so I rebooted my phone, and this time when I selected Apple Intelligence & Siri in Settings, it displayed a message saying that for it to work, the Siri language has to be set the same as my phone language.
My Siri Language was 'English UK', but my phone language was set to just 'English (World)'
I changed the Phone language to 'English UK' by selecting it in 'Other Languages', and now when I go to Apple Intelligence & Siri settings, it says Apple Intelligence - Downloading
So hopefully it'll work now...
I am the tech guy among my family and friends, and I help some of them install updates, adjust settings etc. For months I have been undermining Apple Intelligence to them -- just brutally mocking it -- in order to manage expectations when it hits. After .1 arrived, I turned it off for them, since there was nothing to be seen.
Looking at it today, I am speechless. It is far less capable and much more awkward to use than even I expected. I would be too embarrassed to show them. They are not patient with tech either, so they'd only get frustrated. I think I will update their devices, leave Apple Intelligence off, and not mention it to them.
They are not really missing out since Apple Intelligence is trash, and they have already been using ChatGPT and other tools. If they hear about it from other places and ask me about it, then I will show them and let them decide, but otherwise it will save us all some trouble if we just forget about it.

AI is the most oversold bs I might have ever seen in my life. The tech bros are selling us crap at a premium.
Still holding out with iOS 17, maybe I’ll update with 18.2.1, I always feel better with a dot one update.
Chatgpt integration with Siri is no better than Siri before. Results are just displayed on screen and if you don’t click fast enough they disappear before you can finish reading them. When I asked Siri to read the results aloud, it displayed this infuriating text telling me to copy and paste into a third party text to speech app!
