Only had a quick look so far but the only things I've noticed are that directions seem fixed in uk. Roundabout graphic etc seem correct now. Also I went to iTunes store which has my previous search for a podcast. In beta 1 it didn't find the podcast. In beta 2 it said subscribe next to it. Pressed it and it flew into downloads but now don't see it. It's fair to say a lot of work is happening on podcasts.

iMessages Change

You can now select a separate "Start new conversations from:" setting. Will be interesting to see when the OS 10.8 gets updated for the same thing.

OMG, people have been saying 'Safari feels snappier!' after every single new release of the OS.

Eventually, it will be so snappy that just hovering your finger over the icon will open the last webpage you were on.

Cool can't wait! :p

I didn't notice it before but it looks like the app store has a history option of what you've searched for. At least on my iPad it does

Updated fine on my Developer iPad, however on my friends, Non-dev iphone , the update caused the device to go into recovery mode, so If you do not have a developer account, do not install, otherwise you will have to restore to 5.1.1, and update to beta 1, a direct beta 1 restore will not work either.

Fixed iPad WiFi issues

yes! looks like B2 fixed my issue with connecting to old WiFi hotspots (iPad 3rd gen). Now I can connect at work again and hopefully at my girlfriends place. Still no podcast support which might hold me back from ever putting it on my phone.

This could mean live icons in other places in iOS. A context aware Weather app icon would be great (temperature + weather conditions in the app icon).

The actual icon on the Home screen does not move, just the icon in the software update window. this is an iOS 6 beta 1 feature.

This statement is not true at all on nonUDID registered 4S

My update went through smoothly and is working better than ever.

How? Must be because you did a regular wired install of the first BETA?

Yea, it's called a "soft rollout" - isn't it? They lift up the finger in the air , shake it and say: "Don't you dare updating if you are not a developer!" and then they don't care because more people using it, more people finding errors etc helps them to get the kinks out. Something doesn't work? Your fault!

Edit: I played with that thought to spend the money: 2 iPhone 4, iPad 1 & 2, iPod Touch 2nd gen... $20/year and device is not too bad. But, the cool features are only starring on the last device and I'm waiting until the "New" iPhone "5" to come and I will just upgrade. Saves me money especially when there are no really useful new features on my devices.

Pics were gone after update, but got restored after a reboot.

Also, app store is back to the old version :)

I have a company dev account. I have used the portal to add my device yet. But this one is no different than the other. If you connect your phone, and do a backup, then an Update using the option key, it's the same thing. It won't brick your device either. Oh, this way allows you to restore to 5.x.

I think your misunderstanding my quote. Im saying that my device updated perfectly.

Also i updated on a 4S OTA
