Good to see 7.0.2 hopefully some bugs will be ironed out

But that's the thing...did they address other bugs as well, or just the auto-lock flaw? I've tried the bypass on my 4s a bunch of times and I couldn't get in locked. it just goes back to the lock screen

What I want to know is, when are they going to let us install 6.1.3 again? I have to go back... some of my key apps are way too buggy. Maybe in the future when things are looking better I'll go try 7 again.

----------

For everyone complaining about battery issues:

  1. Stay on topic
  2. Restore your phone as new
  3. Notice that there is no battery issue
  4. Figure out which of your apps is causing the problem
  5. Enjoy

Yes... restoring fixed the battery issue me

But a bug I recently discovered still persists.

If you have two different wallpapers for the home screen and the lock screen, and you slide to unlock, and just before your finger would touch the right edge of the screen, you lift it for a millisecond and you instantly swipe left, the phone won't unlock, but your wallpaper's gonna change to the one you set for the home screen. Try it. It's not a big deal but it's still a little annoyance.

I have 2 different wallpapers, one for the lock screen and one for the home screen. I tried what you described but it does not work for me in 7.0.2 on my iPhone 5.

I just updated, and when my phone restarted after the update, it prompted me to set up wifi again, and re-enter my iCloud password. Also, it turned bluetooth on (I always have it off)... is this normal?

My 4s didn't prompt for WiFi or iCloud, but it did turn on Bluetooth which I never use!

Is this just me or does the phone feel slower overall, and animations and the time from the animation ends til it reads my touch input feel much longer?

On my Iphone 5.

3G stays on bug

Funny though that with iOS7 the 3G is magically on although switched off bug after OTA update still persists.

They release 7.0.2 for 5s and 5c, but NOT the 4s ?

I would argue the by-passing to everything from lock screen in iOS7 is even more important than something which specifically bypasses a pass-code..

At least you STILL have a pass-code asking you..

Come on Apple, Take priories.

7.0.2 is for every device.

7.0.1 was for the 5s and 5c.

Lock sound after update

Anyone notice a weird feedback noise after the update on their iphone? It's like after the sound finishes playing, there's this grating metallic sounding noise that plays right after.

How did I update my 4S to 7.0.2?

I know, bad on my part.

Apple still hasn't fixed in 7.0.2 :-

- UN-retricted access from camera all (lock screen)
- Air-plane mode from Control Panel can have Wi-Fi on as well (so all internet related still work including Siri, something which shouldn't be possible).

And other issues in related to accessing Siri from lock screen.

These "problems" just keep coming back from the past don't they.

iOS7 may look good, but as for security features... iOS6.1.3 is better in this

Why do they keep breaking stuff ? You would think from a "security standpoint", they know what they are doing...... I guess not.

anyone experience wifi issues after updating to this release? My home wifi set up worked without a hitch until I updated to this one.. I even reset my network settings but nothing works. It connects and shows full bars, then works for a few seconds, then just stops working

Um..you could always have wifi-on after airplane mode. Airplane mode kills all comm, then you can manually enable wifi only. Say if you're roaming, and don't wont to encounter any unncessary fees.

if you reboot the device or your router does the problem appear to go away?

Has anyone been using 7.0.2 for long enough to get a feel for battery usage? Any different to 7.0 in this respect?

Cheers,

S
