to me it does seem like my iphone and ipad has faster animations in iOS 7.0.2 compared to iOS 7.0.0

My iPhone definitely seems snappier already.

I haven't even installed the update yet, I've just read about it. I'm sure it will be even snappier once it's installed.

I'm just hoping they also add a button for "Repair Disk Permissions". That's the gold-standard for snappiness.

Did this fix the alarm issue ? (some people who upgraded to ios7 said their alarms don't work anymore. ie they would set it but they would't go off and wake them up)

Man the email notification system has been really buggy for me - multiple notifications for a single email. Also my unread mailbox is buggy. Don't know if I'm alone here.

I installed the update with no problems. The only thing I noticed was that WiFi and Bluetooth were set as on by default after my iPhone 5 rebooted. I had to turn them off manually.

Call it a placebo effect, but I *did* experience a better battery performance. I charged the phone with only the Battery Server up and running in the background. I unplugged it once I was told by this app to do so.

Five hours later, my battery is at 98%, and used 3G coverage for Whatsapp and Twitter since then.

All the best,
^MPY

Turned Bluetooth on

Mine turned on bluetooth randomly after the update, but did not ask me for wifi info again...

I updated my iPhone 4s(16GB) and iPad 2(16GB) and Bluetooth, which was off before the update, was on on both devices.

It didnt fix the 5S blue screen of death reboot problem when using numbers, pages, keynote.. Apple needs to fix that badly.

Not alone. Same issue with me. Multiple notifications for email AND for at least one app's push notification. Didn't happen before update.

Bluetooth was turned on; wifi had trouble connecting afterward but is now ok.

Anyone else notice that the "today" notification view isn't updating the calendar fast enough? I.e it's 10pm but is still showing the view starting at like 9? Happened for a while, but now looks ok

Mine updated. :) On android this would have taken a month or more. Im a fan of android too, just stating the facts. This is really fast.

A lot longer if you're on one of the Aussie Telcos. Had my S4 with Telstra, took them 6 months to releaase an update, by then the version they put out was 3 revisions behind the current one.
Back with a 5S now, I miss the bigger screen but after comparing the software that's all I miss. More fluid (the S4 ran well after root and freezing a lot of bloat, but out of the box it wasn't that great), not missing any notifications (hit and miss on android for me). Plus I'm liking iOS 7, it's a nice change from previous versions IMO (more options in control centre wouldn't hurt), there's nothing I've come across that I don't like. My 3rd gen iPad lags a bit, but that was after an OTA update, I'm thinking of a full restore to see if it helps at all.

SOB.....

The update sent my phone into DFU mode. Have to completely restore it now....

That's not true. At least it was definitely in the GM.

Blur in control center, notification center and several other places (keyboard, translucent navigation bars like in Safari, movie player) were removed from the iPad 3 build starting with beta 5.

It's still present in some places like the dock, the Spotlight search bar and some transition effects (unlocking when an app is open).

You will probably be out of luck....word on the street is to NOT add iOS7 to the 4, and perhaps not the 4S. Time to step up to a 5S!

BTW, the update is not showing up on the east coast....any luck out there?

iOS7 works great on my iPhone4. My girlfriend has been complaining about it on her 4S, but I think she's just feeling whiney because I pushed her to upgrade :p
