Blurring was always off in the final releases of iOS 7 for the iPad 3.
Parallax works, though.
That's not true. At least it was definitely in the GM.

Clearly, not all android device take month to update, if you willing to try, you can get update as soon as possible as well.

Seriously. Even the boot time is quicker.
My iPad 3 doesn't blur the notification centre and control centre like my iPhone 4S does, just slightly transparent. I'm confused? I'm still on 7.0 on my iPad 3 and 7.0.2 on my iPhone 4S.
It looks like the battery bug, which let's face it is the biggest problem of all for LOTS of users WILL take a month or more ;-)
probably will get fixed in iOS 7.1

Get your facts straight: I HAVE an iPad 3 which got iOS 7.0 through a CLEAN restore (no backup) and it had Increase Contrast to OFF and it doesn't have blur. The iPad 3 DID have blur on until halfway through the Beta cycle. But it got turned off before the GM release.
Ah. I was hoping they would add an option to disable animations for those of us experiencing motion sickness-like symptoms. Hopefully that option is available sooner than later.

wow apple. Apple should put more fixes than just lock screen issue. What about laggniness on iPad 4 or imessage glitch.

link or u just made it up.
Agreed - my 4S is running iOS7 quite brilliantly, minus the increased battery usage. I guessing I have a fair few charge cycles on it anyway.
My fathers iPhone 4 however does show it's age with the new OS.
Everything you just said, applies to me. Including the father part.
Oh you just have to have a nexus. The other part is it takes them much longer to address these types of issuesClearly you are not fan if Android. You clearly over generalized for your statement. I get update right after Google announce update with my Nexus devices. I also able to flash any ROM on my own to get new update, it is easy and folks on XDA developper do great job for writing instructions.

Don't tell me average user ********. If you can work at company for you complicated job, you can do that as well.
Did someone else press install and then agree for you when the option to update was presented? No need to come in here and cry foul when you did it yourself, and if you didn't then point the finger at whomever it was. Macrumors, land of everyone else's responsibility.
Downgrade it, instructions are available all over the net, and go back to iOS6.
New Icons!?!??! Just kidding...but the complaints are coming...
Extremely correct. I compared my 4S a lot with my friend's 5.![]()

Since Apple has historically never allowed this, I googled it. You could while iOS 7 was still in beta, but now that it's been released, you can't.
I'm telling you I had blur in the GM on my iPad 3. Perhaps some corruption related to my crash issues left some remnant settings behind causing it to still be enabled.
Get your facts right my friend.
Where's the Aramaic keyboard!?
And I'm telling you that the fact is: the GM on an iPad 3 has no blur. If you had developer bits in there that caused it to be on, it's your special case. The end user never saw blur on an iPad 3.
