Fingerprint data is never stored in iCloud, only on the device.

Maybe I didn't make my question clear. I'm not concerned where the fingerprint is stored, I'm curious if iPhone 5s users are able to use iCloud Keychain with their fingerprint to unlock passwords/login info at sites.

Well. This was an issue in the betas and it was fixed until 7.0.3 was released... On the right side you can see siri is not blurring the background like on the left side.

The attached photo looks like its normal but If you try it on your phone it's easier to see.

If I did that I'd have to charge twice a day. I charge my phone when I am at work, which is 8 hours a day. Judging by my experience if I charged it overnight it would just die while I was at work if I didn't charge it again.
Charging at work hasn't been a problem for the last few years. I'd be able to make it the 16 hours between me being at work without my phone dying most of the time. Since iOS 7 has come out at least one of my phones has died almost every night.

We aren't all having all of the issues that Apple has mentioned. That's not to say we can't hope that Apple makes some gains with a problem that many of us have experienced.

So see my other post regarding reset all settings , however its ok to charge your device anytime you want to. Twice a day is fine or anytime you are near an outlet or USB port and feel like it. The once a day rule and wait til its dead went away with the NI-CAD batteries.

Good golly that's the most uninformed thing I've seen in a long time. And to think I was focused on people thinking iOS 7 is causing their battery issues.

It might be time to find a more technical forum.

really, please, tell me.... what is untrue about what I said?

Battery Life

I don't want to jinx it - but after the update, my battery life is insanely better!

Ah, sorry for misunderstanding. I doubt it. I think Apple is very wary of hooking Touch ID into anything besides the App Store right now. This would be a great feature though once Touch ID comes to Macs. (I personally don't use Safari on iOS devices much, other than reading stories...too frustrating)

So it looks like you either have to put up with laggy and glitchy (IP5) animations, or have NO animations at all?

What if some LIKE the zooming and all?

Apple couldnt figure out how to do them smoothly, just sped up a tad? Thats NOT the Apple that Steve Jobs would have been working for...

So they settled for basically an android phone with a small screen...Yea, some stuff works better than Android...But now it feels like Android, with the hesitations, and FPS slow downs here and there. (Just look at screen rotation).

Dissapointed...I left android cuz I liked how smooth the GUI of ios was compared to Android.

Anyone tried 7.03 on Windows websites? iOS 7 has failed to log onto Windows authenticated enterprise web servers for weeks now.

I had been getting browser crashes logging into SharePoint 2013 using Kerberos SSO, and this is now fixed. I think the chances are good that your issue is fixed too. Good luck!

I really like iOS 7 now, the only thing that i didn't like before was the motion/zooming thing, now thats sorted iOS 7.0.3 is pretty much perfect.

And now that they are releasing an ipad mini retina with A7, life's just perfect.

Well done apple.

First of all, I really doubt you NEED anything having to do with a phone.

Second, you obviously don't know how jailbreaking works. You would actually be more secure after a jailbreak because the jailbreak patches the exploit that it uses.

You're the second person to correct me on the "need" thing. Seriously, you guys need to lighten up. I was using sarcasm, because I "can't stand iOS 7". I really can, but, well, you get the idea. So yes, I "need" to jailbreak so I can keep the kick ass hardware and enjoy the software.

Given that I started my earlier post with "for the first time..." you are correct. I know NOTHING of jailbreaking, because until now, I never "had" to.

Any tips are appreciated, though.

I still only have Search iPhone in spotlight search with 7.03. Where's the search web and Wikipedia options they supposedly added back? I haven't seen a place to turn them on.

Oh man...nevermind. They are all the way at the bottom...under hundreds of mail search results. Well that's not too convenient.

Try searching for something using spotlight and scroll to the bottom of any results that might show up and you should see options/links for web search or Wikipedia search to be performed on whatever it is you searched for.

Didn't fix the imessage issue I'm still having with group chats.

Basically in a group message one of the people no longer has an iphone, they've gone to website and deauthorized phone so it's no longer listed on their account. But if I send a message it goes out as imessage to the group. The other guy in group who has an iphone with ios6 can see it and when he replies it knows to send it as a txt message. I've tried resetting network settings, remove the contact and any conversations with him and the phone still thinks he can do imessage. Now if I send a message directly to him it first tries imessage and then switches to txt. Don't know how to fix the group message aside from turning off imessage but then I have a couple family members on wifi only ipads so they need imessage.

Found it...thanks for the quick and straightforward reply!

I updated my three day old iPhone 5S to os 7.03 and it deleted my fingerprint and password and locked me out. I called apple care and then had to do a total reset by shutting down and re plugging into my mac. A hassle but I had it all backed up but all my presets were gone. Just like starting over.

Interesting I had a similar experience but figured it was on my end. I used the itunes client on windows to do the update. It did the backup and then restarted the phone I kept hearing the disconnect/reconnect tones then a message popped up saying the phone was in recovery mode. I had to do a restore and then restored backup and now in the process of copying music back over (I convert them all to 128aac so it takes a couple hours).

The reason I didn't think it was any issue was I've had that happen before where the phone keeps connecting and disconnecting. Think it's some issue with the usb ports switching to high power mode to charge it. Usually it only happens when I have a few things charging off the usb ports. I disconnected all those before the update and it still did that.

I hope this fixes my battery life issues. The battery on my 5s has been awful. It dies on me every night. Last night I went to sleep with over 30% battery and when I woke up 7 hours later my phone was dead.

thats not normal. i can go two days on a charge if im not doing much. you may want to ensure you arent leaving skype or something running. if not then youll want to call support immediately and get it resolved.
