I can confirm to doubters

The compass, gyro and accelerometer issue has been fixed.

Not only that but parallax is now so smooth and non-jittery that I almost cried.

To think I almost returned this device based on this...

Wow, the faster animations are amazing and touchID works incredibly fast.

Closed apps doesn't have that annoying bug either.

Also when I return to the home screen my voice memos app used to flicker but now it doesn't.

THIS IS GLORIOUS!!

Yeah, because having an option to reduce the animations too is somehow a bad thing for those who might want it.
I think there should be an option to re-activate the magnifiying motions. Perhaps in 7.1 :p

Haha I don't blame them, the previous animation was horrible so I'm glad they changed it.
Same. It took way too long. I found myself saying "hurry up hurry up" when I was trying to sneak a text at work. :D

Very elegant motion feature

I have had "Reduce Motion" on since the start, very elegant changes here.

no more zooming effects with updates installed. Its a "fade in" look. Can turn it back on though :)

For anyone having issues, turn off wifi and check for update.

I wasn't showing an update until I turned my phone off and back on. I didn't try your method, but it's possible there is something to that.

Im pretty sure I read that when a jailbreak releases, they release it on latest software. so we should be fine.

I can't ever remember a jailbreak that came out for an older iOS version, but it's always possible. Sometimes in the past they have recommended people not upgrade immediately, so if a jailbreak is important people may want to wait a little while.

Don't disable the animations and you'll have what you want by default essentially.

TouchID Fixed

The issued with TouchID not working half the time after working perfectly for a week has been resolved so far due to this installation. I don't know if the fix is part of the update or if it's now working just due to the fact that the OS was freshly installed.
