And Windows 7 gets a security update almost daily. Averaging 1 per day. Not bad. Constant stream.
Key word, "security" updates. It is Microsoft we're talking about.

how did it almost brick your phone? Did it appear bricked and then a message up saying "JK!!"?This update almost bricked the 4s.
Screw you![]()
I just want the music app bugs fixed. Stupid app crashes every few hours or restrings the phone entirely. I have tried restoring etc etc. The music player was very reliable in past versions sadly the update have turned it into a garbage pit. The remote app looks so cool and nicely designed, sadly the music app doesn't share the compliments.
This is still a freaking issue? They need to sop releaseing the updates with 1 or two fixes, wait a few more weeks and release an actual update that squashes lots of bugs like in 7.0.3.

I still can't get the app store to accept my fingerprint (even though the settings allow it). One of the earlier iOS releases (7.0.3?) was supposed to fix this, but it just doesn't work for the app store. Only works for for unlocking my phone.
Anyone else run into this and get a fix?![]()
Same exact issues here. Background App Update is off, etc., etc., but the device often turns off with 30-40% battery life remaining. Once in a while it can be turned back on after waiting 10-15 minutes, but usually it needs to be plugged in. It's clearly an iOS7 issue, because my battery was fine before upgrading.
I don't really get this: do people really use FaceTime or it is just a "cool" feature you're happy to have but never really make use of?
Not to even mention the multitude of issues with iTunes Match. It's like they are making us beta testers continually.
Umm, no -- my point was that it's ridiculous to credit an OS on how many updates it gets. And iOS 7 is still too damn buggy.
I hope this resolves the Android-like crashing I am seeing in iOS 7.
I've actually once seen a "blue screen" on my iPhone, which shocked me. No text, just completely blue and then the Apple logo.
I'm starting to think of that Apple logo as the "Apple Logo of Death"
It seems it is Springboard that keeps crashing.
Hopefully 7.0.4 resolves more than 7.0.3 did.
Does this contain a fix for 3G/LTE/Wifi connections? My 5S is having a horrible time accessing the 'net, regardless of at home or at work. In the same locations, my 4S was damn near awesome.
Animations still stutter all over the place. Music app still a mess, devices randomly re-sprnging. BUT THANK GOD THEY FIXED FACETIME!!!!!!!!!!
Odd, my update is only 17MB.
