How is it that Apple always fixes bugs no one even knew existed, yet long standing bugs such as the iPad gestures that look and feel horrible are still present?

on one hand, i would say good job apple for being so quick by releasing updates

on the other hand, i would say EPIC FAIL

new iOS released last month, already 3 fix updates

I don't really get this: do people really use FaceTime or it is just a "cool" feature you're happy to have but never really make use of?

I use it. I also use Facetime audio-only whenever I can — sound quality is a LOT better than cell calls.

Still no fix for the janky animations in iOS 7 (pinch to close apps on iPad is still broken in terms of animation), and still no fix for inconsistent finger gestures on iPads running iOS 7 - to move forward a page in landscape with home button to the left doesn't work consistently.

*sigh*

iOS 7 is the buggiest iOS yet!

Nope. I even went and checked their settings.

They each have their own iCloud account.

I did it 3 times, same thing every time. Voice-Facetime call my dad's phone number, my mom's iPad rings. Check my phone history and it says I called my dad. Check my FaceTime app's history and it says I called my mom.

Even if their devices are set up wrong (and they weren't, but even if) then the 2 histories in the 2 apps on my own phone should agree with each other.

On their devices, under Settings -> FaceTime, do they both have the same number(s) or email address(es) listed under the "you can be reached by facetime at" section?

here in Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates the telecoms have requested apple to disable Facetime and sell. Now there is a huge demand for grey market becuase they want Facetime. Many use facetime. Its really great as far I've see its better than skype. Some stores here sell the one with Factime for 25-100$ more for the iPhones retail price depending on the location and storage capacity.

haha. Glad they fixed something I never use or even know was broken. It took them 3.5 weeks to do that. I sure hope they stabilized the OS a bit.

Animations still stutter all over the place. Music app still a mess, devices randomly re-sprnging. BUT THANK GOD THEY FIXED FACETIME!!!!!!!!!!

Well done Apple. The speed with which they issue updates and fixes is unparalleled in this industry.

Or the other side of the coin is they release the software without enough testing and now waisting resources to produce these hot fixes.

Did you not deal with the launch of
iOS 2.0? It was worse.

Fantastic, can't wait for my devices to download the update without having me agree to it first.

I'm pretty sure you agreed to the iOS user agreement when you first bought and activated your iPhone in the first place. Maybe you ought to read it.

iOS 7 still keeps crashing on me randomly. Though it is not often, it is the buggiest iOS release. So is Mavericks. Mavericks broke my iMac 2007's wifi.

Quit changing my damn settings...

iPad 3, 32 GB, WiFi

In iOS 6 I had my Bluetooth Setting turned OFF.

I upgrade to iOS 7, Apple changes my Bluetooth Setting to ON. I proceed to change it back to OFF.

I upgrade to iOS 7.0.2, Apple changes my Bluetooth Setting to ON. I proceed to change it back to OFF.

I upgrade to iOS 7.0.3, Apple changes my Bluetooth Setting to ON. I proceed to change it back to OFF.

I just now upgraded to iOS 7.0.4, Apple yet again changes my Bluetooth Setting to ON.

Why, oh why, are you changing my Settings, Apple?

I love how everyone is bashing Apple for not fixing certain bugs... They are bugs for a reason. Some take time to take, and almost all of them take a long time to figure out. Just be glad it's fixed!

They do it specifically and only to personally annoy you. :)

Probably because they have a limited amount of time and employees. I'm sure they practice a certain principle inside Apple called "priorities" that limits when and what they can do at one time. Why can't Apple cure cancer AND develop new devices AND develop new software AND give me a pat on the back? This world is full of mysteries my friend.
