I too have that sometimes. I have an iPhone 5 though.
Do we have to have a flood of these tired and inane "jokes" in every single iOS/MacOS update thread? C'mon people - you are neither original nor funny.![]()
Yep, but it's not my fault Apple puts a mediocre 16 GB in their phones.Keeping your phone so full isn't really a good idea in general anyway.
Is the low framerate for Notification Center and Control Center when the phone is locked fixed?
Well, you can always get a model with more space, it's your choice which one you get. And, even with 16 GB, you can still manage it just fine if you want to (I have for years with an iPhone 4 and iPhone 5 as well).Yep, but it's not my fault Apple puts a mediocre 16 GB in their phones.
theres an security update on the mac too or is that a bit older and just popped up for me
Happened on some updates before as well, just not consistent (for whatever reason).Dunno if this was new in 7.1, but my phone prompted me for my passcode prior to installing the OTA.
Agreed. The last time Apple gave us a bump in storage for the same price was in 2008. Insane really.Yep, but it's not my fault Apple puts a mediocre 16 GB in their phones.

They've offered more storage for a long long time, it's just a personal decision as to whether or not you want/need it.Agreed. The last time Apple gave us a bump in storage for the same price was in 2008. Insane really.
Although I agree with you, its a joke that they even offer 16GB.Not Apple's fault you didn't buy a 32/64/128.
While the "other" issue can and does happen sometimes, it's not the case a lot of the time, and even then there are ways to deal with it and/or avoid it. Speaking from personal experience with 16 GB iPhone 4 and now iPhone 5, while it might not the the simplest thing out there, it's not actually hard to keep at least 2-3 GB free on the phone (I tend to have more than 5 GB free most of the time actually). Depend on your needs, but if you need more, you can always get a device with more space too.No it's not, but usually Apple just randomly decides to take away your storage space filled with "Other" crap that just grows uncontrollably over time.
It's pretty hard to actually use your phone and still have storage space left if you have a 16GB phone.
They offer even 8 GB in various places/cases. For many that only use their phone as a phone with some texting and email and perhaps a bit of browsing even 8 GB would be just fine, and certainly 16 GB would be more than plenty. It all mainly depends on the needs and use of one phone.Although I agree with you, its a joke that they even offer 16GB.

update went smoothly except it reenabled bluetooth
I feel like this happens after every update? Why does Apple insist on shoving bluetooth down people's throats?
Although I agree with you, its a joke that they even offer 16GB.
to push iBeacons
Not Apple's fault you didn't buy a 32/64/128.
....You have to install the corresponding app for iBeacons to do anything.
That's true, but charging $1000 for a 16GB phone is beyond ridiculous.
