Finally, someone notices!! I've been saying this for the past hour...

Turning off Perspective Zoom only turns off zoom associated with the wallpapers parallax, effectively removing the wallpaper image animation. It does not turn off the movement of icons or overall parallax effect.

Hi, can someone please tell me if they finally fixed the issue with safari browser tabs auto refreshing when you switch between tabs.

it is by far the most annoying bug introduced in ios7, i have lost countless number of typings / forum posts to this bug.

thanks

Not fixed. Opened about 5 web pages and tabs refreshed in Safari.

Performance Speed

It is indeed very speedy on iPhone 5! My text kind of looks bold without setting the bold option. Overall, the pros definitely outweigh the cons for me.

Did they fix the Messages bug that prevented data from being deleted? (I have 1GB of storage data held in my Messages app both on my iPad and iPhone)
That was fixed with iOS 7.0 as far as new messages not being stored in places where it can't be deleted. If you have a backup before that then the issue is with that older backup that had the bug, and you either got to clear it out (using something like iBackupBot) or go without a backup and start fresh.

sure ... if u havent actually used an iPhone 5/S device and dont know any better. by the time my old iPhone 4's Camera shutter finally opens up i have already taken 10 pics on my iPhone 5

1. It was a joke.

2. I have a 5S.

3. You don't have anything out of this world.

The improvements to Touch ID are really noticeable to me. I have always had the full five fingerprint slots registered in the Settings panel for scan redundancy -- 3 of my right thumb for when I'm holding the phone in one hand and 2 of my right index for when its laying flat on a surface -- but I have still experienced the scan degradation effect or whatever you call it over time, and I had to be very consistent with how I placed my prints and the pressure applied. Now I'm just laying them on the button with varying degrees of pressure and at different angles and getting fast reads in one shot, which is awesome.

He's right. I've made several hardcore tests with the 7.1 betas (I've very frequently reported on them here in the MR forums) and compared them to 7.0.4 / 7.0.6.

7.1 has been really superior, even as of b2, to 7.0.x WRT Safari stability, particularly on iPhones. (The differnece on iPads, both 32 and 64-bit ones, was smaller, but still welcome.)

I agree that it's superior, but the tab reloading problem is still there..

Ugh. Control Center has a weird jiggling motion when pulling it up on my iPad mini. Also, the letters on the keyboard are bolder and look a bit strange. Slide to unlock and Slide to power off also look strange. Oh well.

My phone is quite noticeably stable in almost every aspect. The subtle visual tweaks, especially to overall system text, is nice. Stations in iRadio that haven't been working for days play fine now. Animation transitions seem faster. I'm happy with this update. :)

TouchID seems to be tremendously improved. Before updating it took 2-3 tries to unlock, now its instant (and this is without re-scanning my prints)

being able to manually control when siri stops listening is huge. now i won't have to tell people near me to be quiet to use her.

Check inside a folder and in the dock at the bottom of the screen.

Mine used to have white text and now it has black text.
Text is still white here as well in all those areas with a darker/gray stock background. Perhaps try restarting the phone? Maybe check and toggle/re-toggle some accessibility features, like those related to contrast or something like that?

that is fantastic. I noticed on 7.0 that touch-id purchases were always spot-on but the unlock was flaky (often took a second try).
