Still for the 16gb devices, it's ridiculous to require that much space to be available. Apple really just needs to make 32gb's the base model on all ios devices.

I feel like when they are developing a new iOS version and figure out what features they want included they then literally cross off some just to save for the next version.

how do you perform a clean install? i'm downloading the update now in iTunes. I selected "download only" not "download and install"

do i need to import my pics to iphoto before the clean install? i backed up the phone just a min ago

Most exciting? "Reduce the white point". Thank the gods.

Most intriguing? "Button shapes - indicate clickable areas". Definitely looking forward to seeing just what that means. I HATE touching formless text on a sea of white. Definitely not a UI I would have ever envisioned Apple making . . .

Am I the only one noticing that the translucency for control center is not as prominent? Kinda miss that. Other than that every animation is a lot faster.

I think this is the first release Apple has allowed Developers to update from a beta to public release via OTA...1.2GB here on iPod touch from beta 5.

Gosh it's really really fast! I'm amazed.

It is! Very fast compared. It's the little things they've fixed. Animations are amazing now. No more "jumping" as I called it when you switch back to an app using multitasking. Keyboard I like.
