Every year at this time there is an explosion of people wanting to buy a dev account and download the beta, but I'm not sure if it is clear how dangerous/damaging that could potentially be. Don't most of you have specific devices you use to test (I.E. not your daily driver iPhones)?

How many of you have a spare activated iPhone that you can run this on? It's rhetorical, I think most people are testing it on their primary phone (or else it really doesn't get much testing).

Anyone who runs this on their primary phone is some kind of maverick or something....

IOS 7 is horrid! It hurts my eyes. There isn't enough contrast between buttons, sliders, etc. Everything looks washed out.

I have been a die hard Apple fan since the days of the Apple II. I may have to go Android after this. Dang-it

If you thought the IOS 6x interface lacked consistency - ohh brother!

i thought it was just me, but it actually does kind of bother my eyes as well. Don't get me wrong i love the change, but i find it hard to focus on the screen. not sure why

Wow. I absolutely LOVE IT. It's clearly still buggy in some parts such as rearranging notification lists, Skype and bejewelled.. But i love what i'm seeing so far. I dunno what Topolski was complaining about to be honest. It especially shines on the calibrated displays of the iPhone 5 and iPad 3/4.

If there is one thing that makes iOS 7 worth it for me personally, its that new keyboard. I dunno if they messed with the spacing or its just the new contrast but MUCH MUCH better. Typing on it is a breeze and i can fly through compositions.

Also glad you can put Newsstand in a folder now. ABOUT FREAKING TIME.

I still wish Settings menu was reorganised but oh well...

Thank You Jony Ive and team.

Looks like the iPhone 4 misses out on some of the sfx features. Plus it looks like the gps isn't working according to the release notes posted.

ehh Im gonna give it a shot anyways lol.

We're unable to complete your activation..
This device is not registered as part of the iphone developer program

I check, double checked, and triple checked the screen shot I made of my UID from itunes prior to installing. It's still showing registered in the developer account.

Could it be a server overload glitch, or did I likely do something incorrectly?

The DEveloper portal looks to be down again. Probably why your phone won't activate. I'm in the same boat

I'm not a developer...but I noted that no one is writing about the great new features of Siri... :D

Do you have a developer account?

Can someone with an unlocked device on an AT&T MVNO check to see if the cellular data network menu is accessible in the settings app. Just hoping the iOS7 relinquishes us from the tyranny of AT&T and their "carrier entitlements"
