Mine too. Cell service and Touch ID gone on my iPhone 6. Did nobody bother to test this software before it was released?

Ever since Cook let Ive take over iOS development, quality control has gone completely to hell. Anyone remember 7.0.x on the iPad? What a total disaster! I still can't believe Apple let that software out the door.
the testers are still waiting for their units to arrive due to shortages LOL

Thousands of people work at Apple and yet none caught this bug. What are they doing at work? I see they didn't fix app extension sorting issue either.

That was a new operating system.

iOS is on version 8, yet the keep breaking basic things. No cell service means no data and is a major screwup on the iPHONE

Not as long as you have an internet connection and a iMac/PC. You can do a restore.

Thanks god I just read this - I was updating the phone - I have switched the Wi-Fi off...update page says "downloading will resume when you are attached dot With-Fi"...
...anyway to abort it ...or cancel it somehow?

Are all problems related to the OTA update?
Anyone having issues with an update using iTunes?

On the phone with Apple. They don't seem to believe that there's a problem. Told them check forums and they won't since it's not an apple site. lol, what a joke.

Until they bring back the camera roll I will stay with 7.1.2.

I don't think it's coming back.

What you should do is plug your phone/pad in to your machine with iTunes, use Image Capture to offload everything in Camera Roll to the laptop, organize the pictures into folders how you want them, resync with iTunes and tell it to sync those folders on the Photos tab for your iThing. I did that a couple of months ago, just as part of cleaning things up, and it [accidentally] saved my bacon. Had no idea Camera Roll was going away, but now things are still organized in folders so I can find stuff. There's just the most recent stuff in Recents.

Thank you, Apple.

That was just one example. There are others, there was a point update that killed your hard drive if you used FileVault.

The point is this has nothing to do with Tim Cook.
